  • oh laurajo, i am so sorry to hear about your land - how

But glad to hear everything else is going well - life really is full of ups and downs, isn't it? I believe in Karma and that lady will have to pay for that at some time.

Thanks both. I now need to make a decision what to do with horsey. I love where I am and it's cheap and easy going but there are no facilities at all and I'm only able to ride on the weekends as there is no school etc.
on the plus side, I get all my money back on Monday (yes we'd got as far as transferring all the money!) so I can probably just put it all in my mortgage which means it'll all be paid in March. I would still like to look for something else to buy but there isn't much round here :(
Anyway the sun is shinning, it's Saturday so going to make the most of it :)

  • Aw LauraJo, that's pants!

Guess it just wasn't meant to be and there'll be somewhere better for your horse on the market very soon. I'm a big believer in karma so it'll be interesting to see what happens to your vendor!

    Thanks gillybean
Alchemilla... I wish it was an option. Houses with land round here are just so expensive. I would probably have to find approx £300k extra just for a house with an acre :( I do keep looking tho :)

Just caught up. What a bummer re land. But, on the plus side maybe something else will turn up. I always thought we couldnt afford a house with land - but - then our little rennovation project turned up about 8 years ago and yay we could!!

At the weekend I looked at a house for auction - just reseaching an idea someone posted in my diary, not for actual purchase - and found that a person opposite little house was selling 4 acres - sooo - whilst not an *equine property* that little house had the potential to be just that - yet without the initally high tag. You might just find somewhere next year...dont give up on the idea just yet :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
