    Hi there:hello:

Are you on track for the end of Jan?? :money:

    Hey Muser :)
Probably a good time for an update on the financial stuff what with it being Jan and all :D

    So:
I have now put in my last over payment out of my wages
OH puts in his last overpayment on the 15th Jan :j
Then we have some rent to go in from lodger - last lot to go in on the 6th Feb
Yesterday I had info about my bonus for March and that will cover the final bit coz I got a high score for working hard :A
So sorta on track for Jan. In terms of money coming out of our bank accounts / pay then yes we will be done in 5 days time. All other money is now 'just happening' but technically we wont be paid off until the end of March
However Feb pay days will be spendy pay days :)
I will see myself as mortgage free (ish!) in 5 days as there will be no stress from then on. Hope that makes sense???!!!!

They said on the radio this morning that today was the most depressing day of the year and I truly believe it!!
Route in to London closed this morning (until March, no prior warning!!) therefore epic journey and its wet and cold with 2 weeks til pay day.
Need some positive thinking to get me through today!!

    That's rubbish :(

My commute was horrible as well this morning - usual nightmare Monday morning traffic all stuck behind a tractor doing 20 mph for 9 miles
Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
    Mortgage-free: January 2021
Retired: June 2022 (186 months early!)

Maybe my next goal is around retiring early - not sure if they have forums for that! Will be diary homeless soon!

OMG that annoys me sooooo much!! Have you seen that Lee Evans comedy snippet about the tractor driver? Its so funny!! Helps keep me sane when I'm stuck behind one!
