Wow, just read the whole thread. I am exhausted! Well done you & I love that you didn't get so blinkered that you forgot about fun but you still stayed focused.

Tbh it's been worth it just for the fact I wouldn't have been able to buy this land if we hadn't started overpaying so has been well worth it! Good luck on your journey! Keep us posted!

    Exciting!

Sounds like leccy easily sorted. I was quoted about sixty quid to connect up as we have power line nearby.

Oh cool that's good to know! Now need to work out how to build a school that doesn't need planning permission in case I don't get it! X

  • So i was just telling the old fella about your diary and he says 'wonder how quick we could do it' and now he is coming up with all sorts of ideas. I rather think it was in his mind and knowing it can be done has made him talk about it. I think we might be joining the MFW club!
    Gosh, scared and excited!

Wow that's really good to know. I've looked thru local planning applications and in my area most have been granted permission to move to equestrian use and building of an unlit school. I do worry because the specific bit I am is now national park as well as an area of outstanding beauty so that might quash it?? I could only find one other planning application for the national park and that was turned down but then they wanted parking, an access road, a lit school, stables etc so I'm not really surprised!!
Anyone else had any experience of planning in national park areas?
