I don't think we'll get there as fast as you will (unless we can make the next baby share with a lodger??) but that's the beauty of reading a variety of diaries, everyone's got tips to steal! I'm off to check cash back websites.
You mention ever so often spending a long day in London and having to fork out for meals. I was having a nose at our company policies and if we're away from our usual office or travelling at unsociable hours we can claim up to £18 for brek, lunch or tea. Do you have a similar policy where you work? A colleague of mine buys a pack of rolls and a cream cheese when she's working at our office and has the next day's lunch free too!!
Aw thanksit's been tough but there is a pin !!!!! of light now :j
I got the cash back website tip from someone else and I've already made £170 just from using it for insurance and switching utilities... Me loves free money!
I know there is a policy at work as I often claim for evening food but its a good point re lunch... I always take my own lunch in so if I can't then maybe they should pay? I'll have a re read of the policy... Thanks for thatMortgage starting balance 2011 ... £170k today £1.5k

They are great fun (if its sunny!)
Which one you going to?
Working there is a really good way of doing and and if your shift clashes with someone you want to see, there's usually someone that will swap with you. Off to do my sun dance nowMortgage starting balance 2011 ... £170k today £1.5k

Thanks both
Hopefully have a few extra OP's in July what with the festival pay / lodger money
Could do with a day off though - working all this extra is making me tired! In bed at 9.30 last nite - sad eh?!!!
Farrier visit last nite - £81 - ouch. Could've been worse though as they all went mad in the field and galloped off and one of my dogs was within an inch of getting caught up in it - I could see the vets bill flashing in front of my eyes :eek:Mortgage starting balance 2011 ... £170k today £1.5k

OMG why is buying car insurance sooooo painful!
So I get a renewal quote from my company - £250. Go on line and the same company is £163 - that's annoying it means they are ripping me off!
Get another quote for £143. Tried to buy online and it went up to £250??!!
Called them and it went to £156?
After about an hour on the phone (and I'm not kidding!) they finally got it to £143. Painful!!
Paid in full because, although I dont have the money, its cheaper to do it this way and I get a free overdraft up to £250 so seemed to make sense?!
