He is perfect in the school for the entire session, I tend to do about 25 mins of work with a warm up and cool down either end. Hacks are about an hour but its very hilly round our way so I wonder if its tiring him? Maybe he's bored hacking too?

Ok so had a bad week money wise just because I have spent too much! New job means new clothes ... I decided I shouldn't turn up in primarni! £100 spent. Wedding anniversary present bottle of port (although half price in my T). Curry for anniversary dinner (v romantic eh?!) and a fan coz our bedroom is soooo hot (even tho still paying for lodgers heating!)
Tonight is pub ... Well it is Friday, tomo a 40th and mums bday on Sunday... Big ouch for this week! Still need to get my mum a pressie so that's a job for tomo (and I'm clueless!)
Better week next week I hope!

Mostly he will rush off, throw his head around (up or down) and basically not listen at all. Last time he wouldn't stand for cars to go past and decided to do a little rear

Really odd. I would defo think it was me if he wasn't good the rest of the time! Managed to find someone to give me a lesson next sat and she's a brilliant teacher so that might help (the person who normally gives lessons at the yard is terrible so we're having to do it on the quiet!)

I think so? It does seem to? It's so awkward. Been speaking to a fellow livery tonight and she says the instructor has no clue so at least not just me

it isnt unusual. We changed riding schools the day a pony went down to roll in the school and DDs instructor was too busy nursing her hangover to notice straight away.

Omg that is sooo bad! Especially with kids, very very dangerous! Prob a good plan to change schools!
