Just saw this pop up on the new posts section and had to delve in. Really glad I did as your progress is really inspiring!

I am currently paying off remaining debts but when that is over (hopefully December) I am going full blown MFW and seeing how quickly you've managed this is really exciting! I certainly won't be able to match the speed but it helps seeing how motivated you've been!

Roll on next June for you! Good luck!!

    Aw thanks RPS (great name!)
I know that if I hadn't been doing this, I would've just chucked money away. Weirdly its the first time in our lives we've been solvent too - no credit cards, no overdrafts etc. Its amazing how bad we were with money before this.
Best of luck paying off your debts, defo the best way to go
Look forward to seeing your thread on MFW soon :)

I haven't so will take a look tonight - thanks for that. My friend is going to try and help me. I think his bit is too harsh and I'm not using it properly (pelham with a rein connector rather than double reins??) Its all very confusing!

Well spoke to lodger about the heating... Just kinda said is it too hot in your room, you ok with how the heaters work etc. she says she's fine and it only gets too hot sometimes but she knows how to turn them off / down. Seriously tho, it doesn't get much hotter in this country!

i would pull out the heating fuse out during summer. My brother used to do that so that whenever he left the house no one could put the heating on. :rotfl:

A rein connector is not too weird. Do you use a curb and has horse had teeth done recently?

I do yes and he has had them checked. I think maybe the curb isn't tight enough too - might try that later tonight. I've only ever ridden in a snaffle so this is all new to me! What's weird is he is fab in the school and for the first 20 mins of a hack and then he is just a pain in the a££!! I wonder if he is getting tired coz he was allowed to get unfit over winter? If only they could talk eh!!
