Had mine 12/03/12 - I think that's when I opened the ISA Saver Direct last year and on 05/04/12 I had another - tiny amount.

Got my new one, the fixed rate was better but I didn't go for that one as withdrawl it's closure only and you never know.

Got my main interest a few weeks ago and redesignated to the new 3% version and my 0.2% Reward ( 3 figures, so worth having) was in yesterday.
I will now see if there is somewhere better to transfer it to, though am steering clear of Santander, and I don't want a fixed rate as I may need to cash in if we move house in the coming year.

so, can someone confirm if the 0.2% shows up as a separate credit?

I redesignated last year on the 11th April so would expect it in 4 days if that's the case.

    thanks

    edit:

oh and if I'm planning on just re-designating with Halifax...should I just start paying in this year's allowance into the existing Direct ISA? (whole allowance) Would I get the Interest for the 4 days when they re-designate?

Seems Halifax work weekends. Filled the online form in yesterday to transfer to the new Online ISA, and its been done just now.

    Says this on my statement:
    10 Apr 12INTEREST (GROSS)
    5.22

I assume that because the old ISA didnt mature until the 19th so its interest from the 5th to the 19th. Why does it say a date in the future tho?

Opened mine 20th April 2011, interest paid 5th April 2012. Interest amount is correct (very slightly over actually) for 3%+0.2% bonus. Got Santanders 3.3% isa open already, just waiting on form in post to transfer which will be after easter weekend hopefully.

Interest gross still states 3% on my halifax isa, as it should. Plain sailing!

Just confirmed on the phone mine has changed over. She said the Saver online has a variable rate that doesnt drop after 12 month like the Reward ISA. Thats wrong surely? Thought it was only 3% variable for 12 month?

Form at http://www.santander.co.uk/csgs/StaticBS?blobcol=urldata&blobheader=application%2Fpdf&blobkey=id&blobtable=MungoBlobs&blobwhere=1223421227891&cachecontrol=immediate&ssbinary=true&maxage=3600 if you already have a sort code and account number for your Santander ISA.

    Hi guys,

I'm not Isa Savvy but just went on advice given to me from my local bank.
I took out the Halifax Isa Saver Direct @ 3% gross interest and I just checked my account and although i have been paid my interest, i am not at all happy in the slightest with the amount of interest i have been given!
I am also a Halifax Ultimate reward account holder and they lady advised me that because i have this account i would get an extra 0.20% making it 3.20%.
I put in the yearly allowance which was £5340.00 although i transferred that money on a monthly basis over the last year.
When i checked my account the interest they have paid me is £49.59?!!!!! i mean WHAT?!! If it was based on 3.20% of £5340.00 shouldnt my interest be £170.88??? Or am i getting this totally wrong?
I just feel a bit hard done by that i've managed to put in the yearly allowance to earn pretty much next to nothing at the end of it. I checked on my account and it still says 3%.
Has this happened to anyone else or can someone explain to me why i've been paid so little? Is it because i paid the money in installments and not a lump sum? Just seems so wrong to me!!!

I'm currently on hold on the phone to Halifax and have been waiting for over 44 mins and i havent even spoken to anyone yet!! Premium line too so Cheers Halifax!!!! Grrrrrr

Any feedback and advice would be great,

    Many thanks, from

    One frustrated Isa Saver :mad::mad::mad::mad:

It will if paid on its own. If (as mine) it's lumped with other interest due on 5/4 ...... it's part of the composite sum.
If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !
