SEA, thank you I will do that and tell you what happens tomorrow.
  • Hi all
so many posts and so little time - my top of the range (pre lbm!) computer playing up so I'm using an ancient hard drive and it won't let me say thanks for all the many good post so just one big THANKS to you all.
I had a bit of a blub this morning feeling very sorry for myself - culmination of a lot of things, auntie dying in Feb (only 60!!) and knowing my cousins will be distraught today, particularly as my aunties youngest son had a new baby daughter on Friday (one door opens as another closes as they say), then my boys of 12 and 14 forgot about motherning sunday (!) and to top it all totally selfish oldest son (away at uni) did not send a card, no txt no phone call nothing - oh the joys of motherhood, I wish we didn't have this day and then I wouldn't be reminded how little they all think of me!!! (self pity again sorry - but I do do it rather well!!). Anyway to the ladies on here have a great day and to the men with ladies and mums, spoil them a little - they're worth it. Love to you all.
    xx

    Hi IDAAS :hello:

Sorry to hear you've been feeling a bit down. It's bad enough having all this DFW stuff to think about, but it's worse when other things are on your mind.

Sending you big huge squashy hugs :grouphug:

    Hi Nugs :hello:

Well done for starting the charges war with Natwest. I have charges to claim from them (not much) and Hellifax (loads), but I'm too scared. I'm at the start of my DMP, so worried they won't accept frozen interest if I do it. Let me know how you get on (sorry didn't mean to sound negative towards what you're doing, I'm just a scaredy-cat!!).

dlb, thanks for the fantastic advice. You're doing so well - an inspiration! :T Well done on the charges front. You are probably right about it being separate from the DMP process, but I'm not brave enough to take the risk yet. Maybe once it's all up and running. Do you think we'll still be able to claim in a year's time?

    Hi Everone.

I thought I was doing well until I read Amani's post regarding not being able to make this months payments. I will be in a similar situation at the end of the Month myself. Do I send a letter explaining my situation and that I am unable to make this months payments and cancel the SO from my existing account. Do I also mention that I am contacting Payplan regarding my situation(Or do I keep quiet about that for the time being?).Or do I send a letter stating that I am experiencing financial difficultys and say that I will be in touch soon with a token payment attached?

    Sorry lots of questions there:confused:
  • Thanks for the hug smilealot!
    hi yellow monkey
when I started my dmp. as soon as it was confirmed with cccs I cancelled all direct debts/so's and wrote to all creditors explaining situation + moving to dmp with cccs and included £10 goodwill payments. You could send what you can afford. Hope it helps.

    Hi

Thanks ISAAS. I will wait until I speak tommorow to Payplan and hopefully if it is all agreed by the end of the Month(Or at least have a case No) I will go from there.

    Many thanks:T
