Hi
It is nice that people can spend their time assisting others.Smilealot what can i say thank you for such an in depth reply to my problems. Thank you everybody for your advice . I will be back and tell you how it went on Monday when I have my payplan call. It is refeshing to know that there are people out there who can help. I chose this forum because after reading about 350 posts I realised this would be the best place to get advice as regards my situation. I have to go now because I have thought of nothing else but figures and budgets for the last 24 hours. Also in reply to your query Smilealot I have a partner and two children So the food budget at the moment is for 4 people.
Ps New to Forums and I am not to sure how to start a new thread as I have only just sussed out how to post a reply and I wanted some advice ASAP.
Thanks and signing off until Monday.
PPS How do I insert one of those Smileys and Bold in my reply's( Bill Gates I am not!)0 -
You need to use the post reply function as opposed to the quick reply. The smilies are on the right hand side of the page and you just click on them.
Good luck for Monday and let us know how you get on.0 -
Yellowmonkey- I'm with CCCS & have an OH and 2 kids - we are allowed £315 a month for food etc. If you know there are areas that you need more but aren't allowed, this is the place to get the money! I have been trying to cut back and despite the big shop today should be ok this month and have a bit left over for whatever. I am allocated £60 a month for clothes for the four, although I save this for whenever I need it (like a motnh where both kids need new shoes and my trousers fall apart and OH's shoes develop massive holes - as has happened before!!). Dentist wise I get £5 a month, OH doesn't go as is stupid, and kids are free. Haircuts, again I don't go, kids have long hair (see pic!!) or trimmed by me and OH gets it cut properly so am allocated £8 a month. Hope that gives you some idea of what to expect. Lottery has to go and the NSPCC, but perhaps you could give the first £2 profit from any ebaying/amazon money you get?
