Well done Joek - excellent progress!
Teecee thanks for the chocolate and hugs I sooo needed that it really did the trick!!
I'm still feeling grumpy - (but not the other six dwarves - lol!!) and can't quite put my finger on why - just one of those days I guess.
I really must get on with my assignment, 1000 words to go on "how media affects children's behaviour" - oh the joy!!
My aged pc still not allowing me to thank individual posts so once again THANKS for all the good news and positive posts - it really keeps a person sane!
PS: Donna I'm really going to try and follow your example and start a meal planner I'm sure it would make my life much easier (and cheaper) especially when I get back to work!I stopped smoking 25th June 2007STILL Never complacent but confidentMy debt is GOING DOWN!!!!0 -
Another good way of saving a few quid, buy a large box of washing powder a good brand and the same size in a shops own value brand, in an empty box mix the 2 half and half and its smells and washes the same as the good brand only lasts twice as long for about a £1 extra!
Its good to know there are people out there in the same boat as me, and any tips help i can pass on i will.
I still have approx 19k of debt to clear, but together we will get there and never return there again, i dont know about any of you who have been on a dmp for a while now but i find debtbusting is becoming an obssesion with me, if only i had been so moneysaving before the debts built up..but we all live and learn.Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -
:hello: HI all! Havent been on much lately, but hi to all the newbies :hello:
Thanks to all that sent me hugs the other day when i was feeling down, heres sum thank you hugs :grouphug: :grouphug:
Hope everyone is ok, theres is so many members now on here, and theres so many new posts everyday.
What i think i might do is start a new thread because now this one is 33 pages it is a bit long, Don't you think??
I thought we could all have member numbers aswell, a bit like the nerd club, then there can be a list as the first post and then i can keep up with everybodys name and that, there are more than us than i ever imagined!!!:T
Soooo if everyone just post and then i will write you a number, then i will post the new thread with the list at the begining, is everyone up for that???
Or is everyone confused:rotfl: :rotfl:
I would also like to say to everyone, THANK YOU so much for all the help and support, you will never know how much you have helped me through this time.:T
Love to everyone

Evening everyone. Hope you're all having a good sunday.
Spent a couple of hours going through the past 6 years of bank statements for my main account this afternoon. And with the help of the bank charges/interest calculator elsewhere on the site, I worked out that I can claim back £1961 in unfair bank charges!! This is excellent news as the overdraft on the account is £2000, (Although it's gone over that by a couple of hundred due to starting the DMP), and £1961 will almost clear it off. So i've printed out the next letter and a copy of all the charges which i'm going to send off to Natwest tomorrow morning!
Hopefully if i manage to claim the charges back, i'll be able to do the same on our other accounts.
Other than that, it's been a pretty lazy sunday. Unfortunately, the whole debt thing has really taken it's toll over the past couple of weeks and so today I've started back on anti-depressants, which are making me feel very ill and anxious. :wall::beer: Proud to be dealing with my debts
