Hello again !
I have just been reading all the new posts and just wanted to mention a few things.
Halifax and Egg accepted first time to Payplan and they have been the best ones. I had an arrears letter from Egg and called them to say that I was with Paypland and they were great. They did say that I could resume normal whenever I wanted to . Next argued the toss then backed down and Halifax just accepted Payplans offer straight up. It is just Lloyds that are not playing ball. I was saying to Kelly just now that I have been reclaiming my bank charges and they have not responded to my second letter you send them threatening court. Unsure of what I need to be doing now but they should have replied about 12 days ago. Any ideas anyone ?
Great that we are all on here supporting eachother...If we can answer eachothers questions, support eachother when we are down ( those days still happen now and again) and make light of our situations then we are onto a winner I think.
Speak soon

Hi Everyone
Hope everyone is ok and its lovely to see that there are so many people who are in the same position and willing to support each other, it kind of restores my faith in human nature (getting all soppy now!)
Bluediamond, you and me both! I've got loads of books/stuff that i think i might be able to sell on ebay or amazon but i haven't got a clue how to do it!
Took one look at pigsback and decided i must be really thick.
Not had a bad day today, got a nice letter from Barclaycard saying they wil freeze the account until the 20th pending contact from CCCS.
No calls from anyone today so that must be good!:T

Thanks for that Bluediamond. That makes me feel more positive.
I have never sold on Amazon but have been selling on Ebay for 4 years. In my experience books have never done that well unless they are books from a college course. Kids clothes and mobile phones have always been a good seller for me. Here's another site for selling books. Don't know if it's any good:

I've found Amazon quite good for some DVDs and books - always check on both Ebay and Amazon ( thinking about postage as well as Amazon are not good for heavy books). Slimming cookbooks go FAB on Ebay though.
I just went on the snowball caluculator (https://www.whatsthecost.com) and depressed myself fully! Mustn't do that again!:)

Ex-Spendaholic - Halifax like to have a reference number, give it to them and then they should back off
We are doing similarly with any extra funds. I'm building a savings fund to work as our own 'overdraft' for slower times, then I need to cover dad's days off then it'll be debt repayment. No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Wow - lots of good news about creditors. Glad to hear it. Thanks for sharing it, gives us complete new-comers half a clue as to what we are in for!
Goldigger - you make a fantastic amount of extra monthly income, dunno how you do it, but long may it continue!!
Sorry Joek, no experience with that creditor.

Hi everyone
Nothing new here. Have decided though that if the Hellifax ring me today I'm going to take the call and give them the CCCS number. Hopefully they will leave me alone then. :eek:0
