I didn't know about the shut down of the site, so apologise for not saying bye bye earlier.

Morning everyone. Smile:- I also didn't know about site shutdown until I tried to log on before I went to bed. Hope you are not too cranky today - poor little darlings!!
I 've got to work today so i've been up since 6.00. We are all having pack up today so saving a few pounds. I am just going to have a look to see how much my Ebay stuff is up to. I added some more last night so hopefully will be busy posting over the next couple of weeks.
Going to ring Barclays today and hopefully can withdraw all funds on payday - keep your fingers crossed for me.
Have a good day. Speak to you tonight.:j PROUD TO BE DEALING WITH MY DEBTS :jPiggy points - 155

hi there
got ourselves in a little hot water
got a loan of 9000
credit cards 6000
overdraft 1200
filled out questionair with csss and they reccommend a dmp
felt a lot better after the chat with them
got to book a telephone appointment for this week
plan sound great and as long as we budget 6yrs and seven months we will be debt free
i have applied for a natwest basic bank account and have been accepted so i will not start the dmp untill i get my wages and direct debits going in/from there.
reason for that is that the loan is from my current bank and i heard they can get funny and i want controll of my money
anyway any tips for me before the ball gets rolling?
this is all new to me any advice will be greatly aprreciated
all the best

Morning all.
Sounds like you had a late nite smilealot. I notice you are normally up into the wee hours anyway so I hope you are not to 'cranky' today. I thought you had to be cranky to be a teacher anyway :rotfl: :rotfl:
shredder welcome and well done on your start with the CCCS. Sounds like you are a very organised person. As for advice I will start by saying that if you get pressure from your creditors for more money DON'T give in. When the calls start just explain that you are on a DMP with CCCS and you have no more money to spare and quote reference number and leave it at that.
I do believe sometimes dealing with your creditors is like trying to train a parrot to speak. You just keep repeating a word/sentence in 10 minute stints and eventually the parrot will understand you and repeat what you are saying :rotfl:
Good luck and speak later

YM :rotfl: :T That is so true. GE Money being a prime example!!! Ringing me every day for me to say that same thing and them to confirm it's already noted on my records!!! Finally got someone who said that the phone calls should have been blocked for 30 days and he'll do that now! Hurrah!!working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Well postie has just been.
When i say postie i think it must have been a posse of them because there was such a loud thud on the porch floor i thought i had just had delivery of the western Europe phone directory:rotfl: :rotfl:
Turned out it was only the Tax credit form to fill in. Whoopy doo just what i need. Another form to fill in regarding my financial status:D
Still any thing that offers me money is welcome.
I am on bucket duties today as DD is still sick but on the bright side it does seem to be getting better.
No other post to report apart from the hefty volume from HMGV.
Bye for now
