I promised myself I'd stay off here until all my lesson planning was done. I'm proud to say - I FAILED!!! Oh well, worse things happen at sea and all that.

A big huge smiley welcome to our newbies bowz and rainbow (sorry if I've forgotten any others!). It's lovely to have you here. Kelly will help you out with a number once she's back from sunning herself in lovely Egypt. I remember how scary it was, I really didn't know how I was going to face it all, but then I found these guys. The Club started up with just a handful of us and it's now grown to huge proportions - all of us in the same ship (one that's not sinking - hurrah!).

As you will see, it's a mixture of advice and banter, all with the purpose of helping eachother, whether it's because one of us is feeling down, or someone needs a kick up the bottom to get back on the wagon (like me just now!). Even us old timers (since January that is!) have bad days. Before you know it you'll be dishing out the advice to the new newbies and we'll be able to put our DFW feet up and have a cuppa... although I remember saying that to YM and we're all still here, so what does that say?! :rotfl: (only kidding meal-planning magician - he he!)

Joek - you're back :j Lovely to hear from you. Congrats on the acceptance :beer:

amani - I'm with you on the meal planning difficulties, but I haven't been trying very hard yet

hunteress - I laughed so much when you said you expected I hadn't dealt with the stain because I thought this morning "hunteress is gonna be annoyed with me that I haven't dealt with that stain yet, hope she doesn't ask me"!!!! Need to wait til pay day so can buy enough fairy - ha ha!!

teecee - hope your busy day is going well. Let us know how your team gets on. I have no idea where you find the time to do everything!

YM - your poor daughter. Give her a big hug from me and tell your other one to enjoy her biscuits

Hello everybody.

Welcome to the newbies. It's been pouring here all day. I have had a very productive day. First of all I went food shopping for the week and am proud to say only cost £35.00 so I managed to do it under £50 as I intended to do. Also I put petrol in car at Morrisons and reached the right amount of miles points to receive a £5 shopping voucher. I have done all my ironing and put away. I have even managed to do some sorting out and got some stuff ready to put on Ebay.

Now going to get my little one ready for bed.

Well done on starting to deal with your debts, you have done the most difficult part and we are all here to support you in whatever way you need, even if its just to have a chat or a rant, if you have any questions or come up against anything you are unsure of just ask away, there is usually someone who has faced the same situation.

Smile - Good Luck with the stain. My girl's lost 2-1 with the winning goal scored 3 minutes before full time. So not only was I cold, wet and exhausted after all the running around, I was p!$$ed off too!!:mad:

Aw, got my two ladies on line!

I'm fine, thanks for asking. I have a week off from work now...although I'm house sitting for my folks whilst they jet off to France to see cousin.

So, that'll be a 6:00am start tomorrow to shuttle them to the airport, and then 6:00am starts to let the dogs out before they pee all over the kitchen floor!

It's all a dastardly scheme to make me want to go back to work...

Hope you're both very well though!
