Hello everyone!! Love and big hugs to you all. Sorry I haven't been on the forum lately, as some of you know I was on holiday - and a magnificent time was had by all! Marrakech is amazing and in terms of budget I didn't feel at all stretched. If you go around this time, you will find the weather lovely and warm - but not stiffling. The place we were staying at cost us £180 for the week per person with breakfast (there are definitely cheaper places than that) and the flights were less than a £100. You could easily get by on £15 a day for lunch, dinner and drinks - so it was an extremely cheap holiday for somewhere so amazingly different to UK. Best things was it was only 3 hours away.

Anyway, now it's back to work and the good, old DMP! Had some good news from Barclaycard - they've accepted my plan. Unfortunately they are claiming not to have received anything from Payplan yet - in terms of financial statement, docs, etc. - I don't know what's wrong with these companies, if they will insist on using snail-mail, what do they expect?? The interest and charges brought my debt up by £300 in the last two months - and that's just for Barclaycard. Don't even want to know my balance at the moment!!

Sea - I hope you are doing better my dear. Saw on another thread the lovely pictures of your children. They were beautiful. I can see where you get your strength from, despite all the cr*p you've been through these past few weeks.

Everyone else, I hope you're OK. I am off to read the backlog of posts now (when I should really be reading my backlog of emails at work - but with 700 I don't know where to start!!!) Will be back soon. xxx

    Hi everyone

I am having a really stressful week. I got into work yesterday and I had a message that Alliance and Leicester had called me at work and today HSBC have called me at work. They can't do that! I manage the finances for a large residential care home and i'm worried that my work will find out what is going on with me and it may effect my job. Also my assistant answers the phone and keeps having to take messages, soon she will wonder what is going on and I really don't want to explain it to her.

I just don't know what to do.

    ARGGGGHHHHHH

Sorry to rant but I have a big knot in my stomach.

I hope everyone else is having a good week. I haven't had the chance to read everyones as I am at work will catch up later.

Hi Sweety, can you call them up and say your work number has changed - give them a false one? Say you have changed departments and keep the number similar to the old one so they don't suspect. Then say the right number to call you up on is the mobile. That way they have a valid number but will stop calling you at work.

    AFTERNOON EVERYONE,

    Newbies welcome

LONELY Welcome back, sounds like a lovely place to visit. Good news from Barclaycard :j

SWEETY83 Sorry to here about the phone calls at work. I think thats really bad for them to that. How did they get the number? did you give it to them before? I think the advice that lonely gave you is good.

I have not had any more phone calls from Halifax. I have had a letter from them today, saying thankyou for my recent letter. they said they will consider suspension of interest when they receive a financial statement, Ive emailed CCCs.

    Hi everyone.

Still tired out from getting up so early to get the bus. Took 1 ¼ hours to get to work today instead of 25 mins in the car!!!

Might be able to borrow a car for our anniversary weekend so we can go away somewhere. If anyone knows any nice B&B's/cheap but decent hotels, let me know!! ;) I know OH would rather not do a travelodge, so anything better than that!!!

Determined not to have our anniversary be like last weekend when the kids moaned about walking/buses and fought all weekend, and OH was very fed up. All we seemed to do was tell the kids off. They couldn't even watch tv without a fight

Hopefully this weekend will be better.

No news from anyone yet. All quiet. Answering those two phone calls has stopped them for now. Interest is piling up on them already though. Waiting for payment details from CCCS this week to make my first payment.

    Down Souf. ;) Near Gatwick.

Was looking at Dorset area but anything south of Birmingham considered.

Starting to get desperate and look at caravan parks!! Not really my first choice for anniversary but looks good to take the kids at some other point.
