Hope you are all well!!
Glorious day here today so spent most of the afternoon in the garden just chillin'. Can't remember the last time I had such a relaxing day!!:D

Kelly - Well done on your Grand National win:T :T I usually always have a bet on the Grand National but completely forgot it was today:mad:
Never mind I suppose I could look at it as a money saving exercise seen as I never ever win a penny!!

Scottishmummy - Great job with the carpet. Ihave done absolutely nothing today and am feeling a bit guilty about it after my great efforts on DDs bedroom yesterday. Maybe tomorrow unless the garden beckons again:rotfl:

Evening all
What a gorgeous weekend - been busy in the garden. HSBC called again today, surprise, surprise. The two weeks was up Friday for the bank charges so lets see how next week pans out. I start work again on Monday, hope I don't regret it, 20hrs work , a degree, housewife, mother, chair of governors etc etc - sound like a normal woman to me - whats to regret!!! Still feeling positive but no progress made re Dh, but just enjoying the feeling of "letting go" at the moment!

Evening everyone
So how many of you did have a flutter? Used to work in the pub at weekends and there was a group of builders came in every Saturday and would each pick a horse for a £1. Whoevers horse won got the pot. Did this every Sat not just the Grand National. Anyway they started to let me play too but I kept winning so I got booted out of their gang lol. Haven't bet on anything since.

I only ever bet on the Grand National, kind of a family tradition all pick our horses then send mum down the bookies, I'm 40 and have only ever won once!!

Am now enjoying big glass (or perhaps galsses am now on 4th!!) and trying to list on ebay - but it's going slowly what with looking on here and watching girls aloud and cursing their bodies on TMF and texting my mum teling her ho wgreat she is!

oops forgot main point of post - not really bet on GN ever- not a big thing in our house. I used to cry as one horse always ended up being shot or falling and I'm a softie!

Going off now to demolish one of DD easter egss (oh the shame - but its been a week and I'd hate for it to go off!!).
Teecee it really has been gorgeous, sunshine always seems to make everything seem a little better!!
