I'm ashamed to admit this but 2 years ago just before dd was 3 she got a plastic chair stuck on her head (don't ask me how - I didn't do it honest!!) we had to take her to the local fire station to have it cut off (the chair not her head!!) and I changed and freshened my face up before going (oh the shame) even though dh was coming too!!!

Had acceptance letter from MBNA today. Nothing on there about freezing interest though? Will phone them on Monday.

Hope everyone has had a good day.
Just thought I would let you know, barclays have decided to be arkward by ignoring my letter about starting my dmp.
They sent me a statement and have said they want my account brought up to date, they cashed my token payment though.
Feel gutted about this,:mad: though I rung national debtline and they said to send another pro rata letter to them and then see if they respond. The man said they are breaching their code of conduct.

Sorry I haven't had chance to read through the pages
Hasn't helped that I am feeling so rough today.

Hey Ally,

Hope you're feeling better by the time you read this - I'm off to bed now.

Have spent the last few hours scrapbooking for the first time in 20 months and loved it!:) And it also brought home just how much I spent on scrapbooking supplies - OMG!! We're talking serious amounts of money!..am so ashamed! How could i do it?!!!! At least I've now got enough scrapping supplies to keep me going for a LONG time. I'll just need glue every so often and when I finally get through the back log of photos, will need to order more photos (but will be sensible and do a massive order so they're cheap). It was more than a bit shocking actually. Almost like another lightbulb!

Did manage to do about 10 layouts though so feeling pretty good. Have 56 items on Ebay, a lot finishing tomorrow so fingers crossed as only 8 are selling at the mo.

Having the usual flush feeling due to payday (stupid I know) so need to stay away form shops, but fortunately, the realisation of the fortune spent on the other things in life will act as quite a good deterrant.

Anyway enough of my rather late night ranting!

Feel more positive about Barclays I am thinking they can't have want I haven't got!!
Going to send them a letter tomorrow and see what happens.

The weather is lovely here today so might go out later.

What a lovely sunny morning - just about to hang a load on the line, checking on Ebay items finishing today and generally trying to tidy up! Kids seem in a better mood today too.

OH got me good this morning - told me he was going to Amerstam on a lads weekend costing £500 but as he'd gett he money from his ovetime/ woring for sister it didn't matter- surely he was allowed time to himself etc. I nearly blew a gasket! Very red faced now....

The sun seems to be shining here too Sea. I have just been and hung out a load of washing. I love the sun!!!

Sea, I sympathise with you about your OH and the lads weekend. DH's brother is getting married this year and I am dreading how much the stag doo is going to cost us. Its not like he can make his excuses and not go either as its his bro:mad:

When you think you are all sorted something else comes and bites you on the bum!!!

I've just sat and done a meal planner for the next week. I have £34.00 left to spend on food till next Friday. Well thats how much I am allowing myself!!! I am off to Tesco in a bit to get my meal planning ingredients! Luckily now the kids are off school the petrol bill wont be so high. I am going to have to think of some fun free things to do??? My eldest is 8 so he is not going to be swayed by making easter bits and bobs!!!! The youngest two are easy though.
