hi everyone,

Ive called CCCs again today, to see if my welcome pack has been sent out. The lady told me that it had been requested on the 23rd march, and should be with me anytime now.

A QUESTION

I sent notification of DMP letters to our creditors with token payments 10 days ago now, the cheques have been cashed so I know they have received them. I have not had any phone calls or letters as yet is this normal??????????

Our creditors are HALIFAX, MINT, MBNA, VIRGIN MONEY, HSBC, GREAT UNIVERSAL and SAINSBURY'S.

Amani - Don't go looking for the calls or letters. I'm sure they'll come soon enough. Are you past the due date for each payment. If not they may not come till after then. DH has an HSBC CC and we have overdraft debts with BoS but pre HalifaxBoS so don't really have experience of your other creditors.

I didn't hear anything either, except from HSBC (which was a bit weird, as I have a credit card account and a current account with them - reply re credit card said 'fine' to reduced payment, current account said 'sorry we need more than you're offering...'). Didn't hear anything from any others though. CCCS told me that: 1. no news is good news, and 2. they may get in touch when the first payment goes through (it'll sharpen their minds a bit...)

Off up to the council offices to get a council tax rebate form. Hopefully we will qualify as our CT has gone up quite a bit this year.

Lonley - thanks for the message I do have kids!! And an OH who ALWAYS has the lie in. Even when he was off work sick for three months!! But, I've got to get DD a new outfit as her cothes are falling apart! So am really looking forward to that - £10 max for that.

I've had 1 phone call and 2 letters - one from Barclays accepted for 3 months and one from Egg telling me they're going to default but accept my DMP. That's it. Nothing else form anyone apart from statements.
