Just had an email - accepted for my new account!!!

Just need to double check there isn't any overdraft when it comes through (not that I have the credit rating to get one anyway but need to make sure coz of the DMP).

Sally what a result and what an inspiration you are - go girl!!! :beer: I've just prepared my letter to get charges back from HSBC over £2,000 so send me some of your lucky vibes!!! If the sweets are on you this evening I'll have a big bag of chocolate buttons please!!! (With a walnut whip on the side if its not too much trouble!!!)
I had a letter from HSBC this morning, they seem to be completely ignoring the dmp - said that after reviewing our account they're removing our o/d facility so good we pay it back immediately please :rotfl: :rotfl: but if we get in touch perhaps they can help us (a managed loan maybe :rotfl: ) and give us a smaller o/d. Where do these people get off :rolleyes: !!! Oh well another letter for file 13!!

DH's birthday today so had planned a lovely day together but the post put a complete downer on that.

Letter from his BoS Business Account - £35 charge.:mad: Only his vodaphone bill comes out of that account so we only ever have enough money in there to cover the bill. On the 14th I transferred enough money across to pay it - or so I thought. Turns out I transferred it to his Abbey account. Anyway Vodaphone attempted to take money on 21st - bank letter is dated the same day but we only recieved it today - a whole week later. Vodaphone attempted to take the money again today so no doubt in a week there will be another letter. DH phoned Vodaphone to change the account the DD comes out of so it won't happen again. We went into town and went into BoS and tried to get them to refund the second charge as it only happened today and we were able to pay the cash into the account today. They said "no money has to be in day before" so we said "close the account here is your money expect a claim for charges from us very soon." Was told can only close account in writing. So at some point in the next few days, when I can be @rsed I'll send a letter to them but Vodaphone won't try again so there should be no further charges anyway. So the day started off with us down £70 and Vodaphone still not paid:mad:

To cheer ourselves up we went and spent £20 of M&S vouchers we had left over from christmas in their food hall for tonights tea. DH is taking tonight off so we can indulge in wine, chocs, belgian biscuits, cake etc. He also got to go into his favourite second hand record store and choose his birthday presents - 2cd's and an LP.

Welcome all newbies!

I had confirmation that citibank have accepted the DMP as for the second time I've had a statement through with no interest applied again. So that's hsbc CC only, Egg card (once they've defaulted me on 2nd April) and Citibank that I know for certain about. no nasty letters or phonecalls so it does happen newbies!

Also won a Tumble Tots comp and will get cookbook, tumble tots goodies and a basket ful of fruit Looking forward to that little lot and I might not even ebay any of it!
Trying to list more tonight - at least 2 things (they are big bundles of clothes).
