  • Hi All,

Sorry to be such a pain, I am very new to any forum, and require some help please?????

I currently have a Natwest loan for GBP 6800.00 at 8.9% which includes the insurance and all the add ons they hit you with.... the loan was for 5 years and the repayments are 121 per month, fixed rate!!
My question is, would it be worth me getting a lower rate loan without the insurance ?

Thanks for your time, and if I am in the wrong forum I apologise

Not sure about wearing kilts! Years of not showing my legs to the sun means they're far too pale to show off in polite society.

Which is a pity, because if I were a girly, I'd be rather pleased with them...

Obviously, I'd possibly need to shave them a bit though.

edit: Lonely - remember to get the sweeties out!

Thanks Joek. I certainly will. I'm going through a real truffle phase at the moment - any kind, I'm not fussy. My less expensive faves are Dib-dabs, jelly beans, gobstoppers (especially hot and sour) and fizzy cherry cola bottles!

Thanks for letting us know that Ex. GE are one of my debts. Already ringing me every day (not answering them tho!) because I only paid part of my minimum last month so I'm getting very worried how they will react when I go on a DMP.

Feeling a bit down. Checked previous years payslips and bonus would have been paid already so that's prob not happening now.

Have no money for a new car. No money for repairs or tax and MOT and Tax are due end of April. Not sure what we'll do without car as bus fare costs more than we pay every month on the car!! :(

Busy at work today so trying not to think too far ahead moneywise. Was going to get a few more food bits today but not sure I'm in the mood for that.

Will probably have to make reduced payments to everyone already (not even signed up for a DMP yet) as otherwise there will be no food or petrol this month.:wall: :wall:

Sorry to hear you've been feeling down daisieblue, I'm with you cause I haven't been 100% either - really feeling like I'm jst going through the motions sometimes.

Newlywed - when did you last get paid? if you've already had the money, then you may find that the next pay check arrives before the M.O.T etc.

Definitely write to your creditors with a token payment, and I'd certainly give an agency a quick call. The sooner you're on board, the quicker it'll be.

Either way, one month of reduced payments to your creditors isn't going to make them break out in a tantrum - I've had missed payments before I started on my DMP, and all they've done is add the appropriate interest and a late pay fee...which, in the grand scheme of the DMP I've gone onto wasn't the end of the world!

    Hi Dan

I'm not sure we're the best people for you. If you go back to the forum home page there is a thread about loans, I'm sure there will be people there much more able to help :)

you'll just have to win a PS3 then. Why buy something if you can win it? There are loads of comps about for it. I should have one soon. :rotfl: My father in law was round yesterday and asked why we don't have a big LCD TV. I told him I haven't won it yet. He looked at me like I was barking mad (well I am but he could have been discreet). :rotfl: :rotfl:

Joek Can you remember how many posts it was to get your second star? I was watching, but I missed the actual number, sorry!
