We got the two vouchers in post today and when we went to argos tried to pay extra to get two bigger tv`s but, they were having none of it but, never mind the direct debit is cancelled now so they only cost us £6 each. The grandchildren will be pleased with them.

I collected my sat nav from Argos this pm, the lad wasn't sure how to process the voucher so called the supervisor...she showed him how to input the details, and then gave me a £5 voucher as it cost over £50  . Result - one sat nav, £1! :T :T :T

Now I just have to get the fuse of the cigarette lighter renewed, gave up cigs 2 years ago so haven't needed it - til now

Many thanks again to OP :A

For all those with the Binatone X350 there is a way to install different satnav software such as tomtom, iGo, Destinator etc etc to an SD card and then to setup a menu so you can choose what to run.

Shere1 says on 17-01-2009 that for all those with the Binatone X350 there is a way to install different satnav software such as tomtom, iGo, Destinator etc etc to an SD card and then to setup a menu so you can choose what to run.

I have both TomTom6 and TomTom7 running perfectly on my Binatone A350 from an SD card allowing me to retain the original Binatone software unchanged. I would, however, like to install the menu that Shere1 suggests to allow me to choose, at start-up, which one to run and would be grateful if someone could point me to instructions for doing this. I presently wait for the Explorer icons to appear and then have to click on MobileNavigator and then click on the TomTom icon to start.

Incidentally, the TomTom versions are far superior to the original Binatone one and I now feel that i can trust the satnav to get me where I want to without any more hassles. The original Binatone software would suggest, among other things, that I should occasionally take a motorway exit to take a more minor road running parallel to the motorway and then re-enter the motorway later.

    CSJ,

Sorry for the delay I have not read this thread for a while.

You can get more information on the menu (and download) from :

    http://www.gpsmodding.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1752

The menu is installed in a simialr way to tomtom etc by renaming the directory to MobileNavigator and the menu.exe to MobileNavigator.exe. Then you mod the ini files to point to the tomtom, igo etc exe files. Pretty simple to do and makes the device much easier to use without the need to change directory names etc to select which program to use.

Over the last year I got a bit fed up with the junk mail from Sunlife inviting me to take out the plan again. So I did the offer again and got another free gift. The junk mail then started again so I did the offer again. So 3 gifts for about £18 . I did have some generic leaflet in the post the other day and looks as if they now put in the small print that they reserve the right to not give a gift to people who have had a gift before and cancelled policies.

I did one and the gift didn't come through

Need to phone up to stop the junk mail sometime as it is annoying
