Mine arrived a few days before the second DD - so sometimes they do cut it fine.

I think they might still be taking the direct debit even though I cancelled it at my bank - anyone else had this?

Also, do they stick to the dates in their initial letter when they take the direct debit?

Doing this a second time and not sure if the Direct debit is the original one reoccuring or the second lot as it doesn't tie up with any of the dates?

They can't take a DD if you've cancelled it. If they have, it's the bank's responsibility and they have to refund it.

Worked it out - they did take an additional one, but refunded it a few days later. Must have been the cross over between me cancelling the DD and sending them a letter

Hi,

hmmm, :mad: went to Argos today to redeem voucher and TV still out of stock and not

coming back in, pointed out the 'alternative item' on back of coupon, but was told

could only get what was on voucher and to phone AXA.

So, now have to send voucher back and new voucher will be sent out, supposedly

for a better TV with Freeview. :j

That's a bonus, :rolleyes: as don't get Freeview here yet, so see what happens then.

Now, should I cancel DD, due on 11th Aug, or wait until new voucher arrives?

I got my voucher yesterday and tried to get the tv today. The lady told me that the tv that i was supposed to get was no longer available and she would upgrade it to this one:
