Been away this weekend, but still managed to come home and pot £4.05.Sealed Pot Challenge No 3060

Out all day yesterday with DS at an athletics meet in Blackburn. So proud he came 2nd in 200m sprint and 4 x 100m relay and 3rd in Long jump. :j Weather was kind to us too, at one point I even managed to take my coat off lol.
Bit of a wash out weather wise today but me and OH did manage to put the spuds in potato bags that I have been meaning to do for the last 2 weeks. They were sprouting nicely so hopefully will get some lovely new potatoes in late summer (if we get one).
Potted £2 today so all in all not a bad day.;)[SIZE=2]SPC4 #1395 Aug 11 £135.75/£150

jakes-mum, I'm so pleased you already get the mobility allowance.jillystew2008 wrote: »Awe you guys are great!
thanks so much for the advice. Need to get my spends in check before i DO end up in debt
jillystew, to help control your spending, if you're tempted to buy something...anything, always ask yourself the question "do I need it or just want it?" If you answer with the latter then leave it on the shelf, if you're unsure, leave it til another day and ask yourself the question again.
Good advice you've had from little_sweetie too, she's a treasure. :A
A good tip on using Martin's tool for budgeting, Rosy!!! :rotfl:
Well done on your bargain, sparky, you did very well for sure.
To answer your question, nu1isit?... LC 2 will quite possibly be back tomorrow, she never takes her coat off, just grabs her PC and causes mayhem here again. :rotfl:Pleased you got a lie in, you deserve it.
Wonderful news of your DS's successes again today, mumof4plusoh. :T

Morning everyone
Just thought I'd better pop in to let you know I'm still here. There has been a very severe shortage of pottings and time. Unfortunately there has not even been enough hours in the day to catch up with all your great posts.
I have however spotted 45p sitting on my little table next to my morning cuppa so I had better pot that before it is claimed for something else.
Lovely and sunny here this morning - wonder how long it will last
Take care everyone

Hi everyone,
I have been lurking for a while but started my sealed pot in February, aiming to save £200 so I can get my OH a lovely Christmas present.
Can I join and get a number please?
Do I just update my signature on the 29th November with the total (as I have no idea of a running total, planning on counting it when it is opened for a big surprise!)
Thanks all x0 -

Hi Loubell83 you are more than welcome to join ussue-uu will pop along shortly and allocate you a number which you can pop on your signature (along with your target if you like) Then you just tell us the nitty gritty of how you are adding to your pot 'cos we like to know what's going on :rotfl::rotfl:and then surprise us all in November at pot opening time. I'm not keeping a running total either. I think it's much more fun not to know until the big day
then announce it to the world in a post!! (yes, and add it to your signature then) Enjoy the fun on here...it's brill :T
Well, I just did the food shopping and have gone over budget for the first time since I joined this thread  I had to hand over an additional £2.05 to the lady in Sainsb**ys  from my own money  I think I'll go back to Mr M's next week......
Anyway, there's no money to pot right nowand I need to S_T_R_E_T_C_H the contents of fridge, freezer and storecupboard to make sure we can actually last the week
Still, the sun is shining and it's actually drying my washing outside :j Happy potting everyone xSealed Pot Challenge #012
