Is there not a machine you can use (we have one at our local Sainsburys') or do they charge?
Hi, these machines do take a percentage of your cash. I'm not sure how much but any is too much.
Potted £2.87 today. I haven't seen any £2 coins for ages, I bet that Sparky has been having them all.
Welcome to our newest potters. It's lovely seeing how many people are joining us. We'll be making the headlines when we all open our pots. :rotfl:S.P.C. 9 2016 No. 062 Banked £337.50

Ooh ModestyB I've got to confess to geting a lot of £2 coins and potting them into my Chicago & New York 2013 spending fund tin, which also gets fed 50p's and is getting nice and heavy and that horrible empty clunking sound of "the new tin" has stopped now

sparky is quite right about that. I looked up the % they take before I use it and it's way too much at 10%. I only wish my local H$BC had a coin machine too then I would use that. Good old sparky for sound adviceSealed Pot Challenge #012
