Well folks, I've had a lovely day. Dear GD was dropped off at 10am and we've had a whole day of crafting, decorating gingerbread men with icing and smarties, gone on a nature walk and we enjoyed chicken dippers, smiley faces and baked beans for lunch
During our nature walk we picked up acorns, pine cones, bird's egg shells and, amazingly, 2 x 5p coins which little GD fell on with a little whoop of joy! She popped one in each plastic stash bag (one for her little brother) so I missed out... but it was worth it to see her little face light up (a new MSE covert at 7 years of age??) She has now been collected and the family have gone home. I am absolutely whacked but happy
Hope you all had a great day in the lovely sunshine.

Ah sounds like you had a lovely day little_sweetie.
Well i have managed to pot £3.72 this morning, little bit left from last weeks spending money and the change left from petrol money given by my sister.
Off to work today, finishing a little earlier than usual then into the bathroom to clean the tiles hubby has just put up. and maybe some housework if time.
