    Is back from a weekend of camping, and has decided that only mental people like himself, sit under fabric in the wind and rain in April :D :rotfl::rotfl: :D....We woke up in the morning and it was that cold, our milk had turned into a slushy :eek: - inside the coolbox.:p...

    Crikey nu1isit? I wouldn't have liked to be camping this last weekend. It never stopped raining here for 2 days :eek: You and DW must be very hardy :rotfl:

    I took dear GS (aged 4) to a big play park yesterday 'cos his mum & dad had taken his sister for a full day of dance exams. To say I was whacked is an understatement and we were only there 2 hours :eek: However, his little friend was having a birthday party there so it didn't cost me anything to get in, nothing to feed DGS and I sneaked a cheese bap in for myself :o That was my good deed for the day :A (the DGS not the bap part :rotfl:)

    Now good news....dear FiL gave me a lottery ticket for Saturday and I won £10 :) so I have banked it and added it to my sig :T It's the end of the month too (at last) and I have potted my last remaining 42p

    A big WELCOME! to all the Newbies and I hope you are having a better week sue-uu....<<HUGS>> anyway

    Have a lovely week everyone x

    Still a good weekend though;

    oooh, I'd have loved camping too, nu1isit? The rain and wind adds to the excitement, though it's always good when the sun comes out again. I take it you had the ice blocks in the coolbox?? If it was a bit thundery though that can turn milk off.

    I wish you hadn't said that, Ruth, I'll be getting images from now on! Bless your Dad with his penny-dropping, that is so sweet of him. Glad your happy with your counter-pot, that's all that matters.

    Hiya sparky! :wave: Long time no see, though I must confess I forgot all about your Telford trip. I hope you all had a lovely time. Yes, I'm ok, just the normal problems if you know what I mean. Pain in the rear, but I'm through with it now! NO! I haven't had haemorroids for anyone being nosey! ;)
    The family are fine thanks, sparks, some on a cliff top...in all that wind and rain!!!!! :eek: The 3 elder DGKs with us, having a ball! T & I stuck in the middle.

    Well done little_sweetie, these things cost the earth as tis, so why not sneak your cheese bap in, brilliant news! It all took me back to when our DD used to take her ballet exams, lovely times. Well done you on your £10er, how lovely of your FIL, bless him.
    Have a lovely evening and Tuesday, everyone!

    Oh you're fine, sparky, I felt I just had to include another fellar for effect! ;) You're no trouble at all though....just as all fellars should be!
    Good for you, TarantulaLady, that's the way to save. Most of us prefer the surprise and it's absolutely electric here from September onwards in anticipation!

    Great news Delilahh, I'm really, really pleased that it's picked up for you. :grinheart

    Just a few coppers for me today, better than nowt and will help build up.

    Have a lovely day, folks!
