I didn't manage to pot the £3 out of my purse, DGS needed some money for school.
Yesterday I had a brilliant (for me) idea for my DD's birthday on the 18th. I'm getting her a Sealed Pot and putting some cash in to start her off with her Uni-fund. She's really chuffed with the idea. I'm gradually getting her more MSE, she's actually started watching what she spends on her shopping now. :D

Keep it bookmarked, samtoby, then at the end of every thread I always put the link through to the next, so no problem. So sorry about your bad news, Sam, but I sincerely hope you'll soon find another job, one you'll be very happy with. :)

Marvellous news, Modesty!! We did that for our DGS last week, he too was thrilled and is potting well. We'll soon have them :money:

Hi jakes-mum, great news about Lily's school choice! When you say you're concerned about her not being in the school's catchment area, do you mean you're worried about how she will get to and from school?? Check out the mileage and see how that works out via a google search, or ring the school secretary tomorrow and explain it. Our 2 were out of the catchment area once and we had to get them to and from school. You'll soon know one way or tother.

Meanwhile look ahead to your break! :D

Well saved, aliboy, youre doing so well. :j

Oh very well done indeed, Hans! I hope you're enjoying the new area. Save well from here on, there's still plenty of time to save.

My DGD's boyfriend received great news that he was successful in getting the job he really wanted today! We're all so chuffed for him!
    Keep saving well folks.
