Just potted £2.36 by emptying the silver and coppers out of my purse. 7p of that was roadkill. I've left 3 £1 coins in just in case they're needed. If they aren't used by Tuesday they'll be in the pot.
Welcome to all our new potters.
Big hugs to all who need one.

  • Potted £2.26 in change. Had odd bits of change that the kids gave me on Fri , change from their lunches.

It was DD2 birthday yesterday (8 yrs old) and we had a bit of a do at ours (16 of us) so spent quite a bit on food and drink yesterday. We went out for a meal with the 2 older ones for their bdays so this was the same cost but more people to help celebrate.

She is having a small party with her friends tomorrow. An hours bowling, fries, hot dog and a drink for £3.95 a head. Bargain as was going to bowl and take them to McD's. I asked if I can take a birthday cake which they said yes, so really pleased with that.

What a miserable day, think the rain has stopped for the moment! Welcome to all the newbies and hugs to all that need them.;)

Hi everyone, I have been potting the pennies over the past few weeks. Popped a few more in today but not sure how much -just everything under a 10p piece:D

Found 5p on the garage floor which DH must have dropped so that's gone in as well and DH found a whopping 1p pavement penny:D.

    Hope everyone is doing ok.

£3.15 potted yesterday, leftover change from family swimming trip.

After scoffing at my poor sealed pot lid cutting attempt OH made me a new one out of a really nice big jar we had... and made about as rubbish a job of it as I did with mine! :rotfl: So now we have two sat on the kitchen windowsill, big one for coppers and small one for anything bigger!

Cheer up Ruth, we never know when our finances might change, just keep on hoping. If you mean you're bagging up all your SPC 5 cash and banking it, please don't forget to pop it on your sig.

Still go to the football, it may just be fine and you never know what you might come across on the way there or back so keep your eyes peeled. Never give up hope! :kisses3:

Sue - I put mine on my sig as i pot it. I'm seriously no good with supprises. My pots count the money as it goes in haha. Football was good, no roadkill found though but oh well.

I finally got some potting done. £11.74 has gone in. Sent the OH on a mission to the bank with loads of bags of change. I don't think they will be very happy. lol.

Also, people (mostly my dad i think) have taken to leaving pennies on the floor of my car. I think my dad feels cheap handing me a penny he has found so he leaves them in my car. He admitted to leaving one the other day so i think he is grasping just how happy finding even just a penny makes me :D

Found a penny on the floor in my car at the weekend, got out feeling smug, then found 2p on the road :) very very happy with that.

I hope you are all well, hello to all the newbies, hugs to all that need/want them.

Is back from a weekend of camping, and has decided that only mental people like himself, sit under fabric in the wind and rain in April :D :rotfl::rotfl: :D....We woke up in the morning and it was that cold, our milk had turned into a slushy  - inside the coolbox.:p...
Still a good weekend though; got to see some great people and outfits at Whitby Goth Weekend :D, talk to some friendly and quirky people :), and befriend the camp dog :D...
Back to the potting now, I suppose...

You could even make a pot!! Just avoid asking NU1ISIT for advice one Mr Tumble is enough for any thread!!

Don’t listen to LC, I am a fountain of knowledge and a pillar of the community...

JoJo,one thing never to do here is take any notice of LC 2 (luckycharlie) or jakes-mum, both are HUGE trouble-makers and spend most of their time on the naughty step! Then I wield the stick that jakes-mum talks about!

Ner, ner, ner, ner LC.... :D :rotfl: :D**Looks round to see if Sue’s going to clip him round the ear next***..
If you haven't gone yet LC, have a good time :D, if you're reading this when you've got back, hope you've had a good time ;).

Ljayneyr, hope you feel better soon...

I forgot to say I saw this, and thought of you all:

I was going to ask if I could take it for this challenge – but I don’t think they would have been best pleased  :D . It definitely wouldn't have fit under your jumper :rotfl:.So only a pound from the pot today, better than a poke in the eye I suppose :D.

    Happy Potting everyone
