Thank you for the warm welcome!
If you could add me to the list that would be great, will keep me spurred on! :T
Sadly the lid of my sealed pot is waaaay too hacked to be saved by any amount of nail filing lol! I should post a photo, would give you all a good giggle! It's only a small jar so I have all the more incentive to get it filled up and a new one started! :rotfl:
Even my kids are on board- my two year old found a penny on the floor this morning and gave it to me saying 'put it in the tin'!0 -
Morning All!
(just checked it is still morning!)
A big welcome to all the new potters!
I haven't spent a lot the last couple of weeks so not had too much to pot. I did pot a lovely £2 coin the other day change from my yoga session! I've got my OH helping now so between us we have 95p to pot today (mostly his).
I'm very proud of him as he had £106 left in his account when he got paid yesterday and hadn't touched his overdraft! :j:j:j It's a first! So he's opening an ISA today with it
I've had a rotten cold this week and my eyes are bloodshot so I look great! But starting to feel better now. Also got discharged from the hospital on Thursday :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j although yesterday and today I've had a slight pain in my side. I'm hoping it's nothing. Surely it would be ridiculously bad luck for the pain to start up the day after I tell the consultant that I'm pain free???
Anyway the sun is almost shining and I'm determined to have a good weekend.
Off to spend lots of money in boots and hopefully get some change to pot!

A very warm welcome, Ladybird., it's lovely to have you with us.
Enjoy yourself saving. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 4 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it helps so very much.
Ladybird., any possibility of sticking a new lid on top of the other? Worth having a shot at surely. You could cut a slit out with a Stanley Knife - when the kiddies aren't around! Whatever it's like, be proud of it as the cash you get from it at the end of the year may afford a £1 pot to save in next year.See, always an upside!
Hi everyone, not such a great day, with a lot of rain about and even more forecast for tomorrow, but we won't speak about that and instead, hope for the best.
Marvellous news, ms_night_ryder! Keep that up and your savings will be looking good come November! :j
Good for you too, ETO, stay saving!I haven't spent a lot the last couple of weeks so not had too much to pot. I did pot a lovely £2 coin the other day change from my yoga session! I've got my OH helping now so between us we have 95p to pot today (mostly his).

Well done to your OH, Janey, he's really doing so very well and deserves your pride. :grinheart
I do hope your painful side is just a hic up and will pass, but keep it in mind and be sure to go to your Dr if it worsens. Could the consultant have irritated it when looking at you yesterday? All the best with the cold clearing up fully too.
Ahh you and your golden lovelies, jakes-mum, though who could resist em eh!
Well done to you, nanto3girls, you never fail with your daily £1, great work. :T
Great work for you also, Kerry! I'm ok for hugs at the moment thanks, though I could have done with one earlier in the week. Not to worry though as I'll take one of yours to keep in reserve..just in case! :grinheart Here's one {{{hug}}} for you too for as and when.
Have a lovely evening and Sunday, everyone! Enjoy it whatever the weather.Sue x
