    Evening Everyone

Well had a "wonderful" day took DH shopping cos we are going away next Sunday our last holiday till winter !!

It was like taking a child out!! he even stood in one shop with me showing him shorts going " I don't like them" "I don't like them" "I don't like them" I was waiting for him to stamp his feet and throw himself on the floor :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
In the end we decided not to bother I went in a different shop while I was in there he went back and bought himself a pair!!

    He was really hard work!!

Anyway the good bit is I've potted £20 :T:T

Just back from a trip up to the out of hours clinic with Miss Lily, who after spending all afternoon crying with pain, is now the proud owner of a bottle of penicillin. Her little face is all swollen from her tonsils, which are so big that when the Dr had a look he actually got DH to have a look as well
Poor mite was so brave as it must have hurt holding her mouth open for all that time when she cant even open it wide enough to have a lolly :( Tears were runnin down her face and everything :(

But shes now had a dose of penicillin and a dose of calpol and is tucked up in bed as shes very tired, and hopefully will feel better tomorrow

I hope your daughter feels better soon jakes-mum.

I haven't been on in nearly a week it seems and I had quite a few pages to catch up on. I've lost track of my potting a bit recently what with not being in the same house as my pot! I've got a pile of change beside my bed that hasn't made it in there yet but I've had to spend a bit of it as money is a bit tight this month. One reason for this is I joined the gym! I felt quite brave for doing it, I was quite scared!

Anyway we're moving home on Monday so normal potting should resume.

Welcome to all the newbies, it's great to have you here!

    Have a great weekend everyone!

    Morning everyone
Jakes-mum ((HUGS)) for lily, hope she's better soon, the poor mite X.

I'm being bullied in work again, they're forcing me to work the weekend for 12 hours both days and 4 hours per day next week also, I'll just have to struggle manfully on and try not to moan.

Have a great weekend everyone, stay safe & keep saving

Oh poor Miss Lily :( Don't you just wish you could have it yourself instead. I hate it when children are ill...hope she's better soon and that Jake doesn't get it too <<HUGS>> to you all.

Well, I would have been potting 10p in coppers today but a man was collecting for a children's charity just inside the exit from the store, so in his tin it went :A I didn't have any more money to put in but it's such a good cause....

The good news is OH has two pairs of brand spanking new glasses and can actually see through them! :T He has a distance pair for watching TV and reading glasses too so he has cheered up immensely :D He will still need to have the other eye operated on in the near future but at least he's not so snappy now. It must be the fact he can see only one of me now ;) However, he did say he can now see all my wrinkles, the blighter  We are pretty broke until the end of the month but only 9 days to go and counting down :rotfl:

Have a lovely weekend everyone x

ah ty everone for Lilys well wishes, she was full of beans today and has been over to see her Gran (which always cheers her up :D) shes just started to flake out now bless her but is making good work of a choc ice :o

She's actually eating today, not vast amounts but anything is better than nothing and shes drinking loooooooooooooooooads.

Trying to stop Jake going near her is a bit of a challenge, as he feels its his big brotherly duty to fawn all over her as shes unwell (and she really doesnt want it :o) at least if he does end up getting it he will understand whats going on and things like 'salted crisps are good' where as Lily just knew it hurt to swallow but had no idea why :(

Need to go get some bread so hoping for some change to pot when I get back :)
