Afternoon everyone, not potted or posted in a while, a little skint, but hoping to still pot a little more before opening day.
I have been saving for the sake of it and to see what i would have frittered over the year, as i have a seperate account for xmas spends.
However i now have a reason to be potting and saving, I am pregnant with our first baby. :j So excited, so anything will help from now on.
Good luck to everyone with the last few weeks of potting.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -

Thanks for letting me know, silvermist, but you've no need to wait til then. Come on and join us now! Even 'only pennies' soon add up to £s.Nothing stopping you from joining now silvermist05! I think I'm going to carry on my total into next year as I won't have much otherwise.
You're so right with the first bit, Mozzy! A good idea to carry yours through til next year - for anyone else too having recently joined.
Hi Janey and very well done on your cheapies, save wherever you can - more for your pot that way!
Hi scuba! Good to see you, btw, when are you moving?
I see you're still weighing in then, Mel, I can't remember what your pot/s weighed last year, but know it was an excellent amount, and 7lbs sounds GREAT for this year! Not long now!
Hiya rasp! Sounds like you're doing well, but don't replace the pot next year...buy a 2nd (cheaper) one perhaps, more MSE.
Well done your money conscious little girl, mumof3plusoh, she'll go a long way for sure!
So come on, jakes-mum, truth - was that £10er donated or "donated" (taken advantage of a tipsy man) by you hubby? Whatever, damned good going. :jEverTheOptimist wrote: »I have been saving for the sake of it and to see what i would have frittered over the year, as i have a seperate account for xmas spends.

I see Martin & Tara had a little girl at the end of last week, marvellous....though he'll already be giving her MSE lessons!! :rotfl:
Don't forget folks: Get your money bags ready (from the bank or local shop) and don't worry about making trips to the bank to change your cash. They love us! :jHave a great Sunday, everyone, Keep healthy stay safe and......keep right on saving! :j

Hello all!
Thanks to everyone for my birthday wishes and delicious cakes...sorry Sue, I have eaten them all
Sorry to have been AWOL too, I have been so busy over the last few days. Christmas shopping went very well. I got almost all my presents with the cash I had on me... what with 3 for 2 offers, spending loyalty points etc I even had enough to treat myself and DD to a quick soup lunch. Debenh*ms had also sent me a voucher for FREE cake for my birthday for me and a friend so we had 2 pieces of cake and 2 drinks for £3.04 :T
I have potted the princely sum of £1.60 and have got some bank bags ready for the big day
Many Congratulations to ETO on the good news! Look after yourself and do let us know how you are getting on. Well done your OH too! xx
Have a lovely evening all xSealed Pot Challenge #012

Thank you everyone for the congratulations and good wishes.
I am due in May, have just hit the 12 week point, i have known for 8 weeks, we tested the day hubby went to Afghan, so it has been killing me keeping it to myself but also the anxiety of getting to this point. Have been feeling really rubbish in the evenings too.
I am def going to join in with next year's challenge just not sure whether i will need to dip in to top up maternity pay at some point, will see what happens.
ooo have a lovely time in Warsaw LC2.
Well done on the Xmas shopping little_sweetie, i wish i was that organised, i have the pennies, just not the ideas at the mo.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -
