I may be quiet but am still sticking religiously to my sealed pot plan. Any coppers, 5p's, 20p's, £2 I get go in the pot plus if I have loads of £1 I put some in. Am hoping to get around £90. I don't often pay cash for things to get the change as I take pack lunch, drive to work, grocery shop on credit cards etc. Am getting excited now for the big count up. Will be doing this again next year.MFW 2013 #146 Target £6000

I have so far saved £130 in £2 coins. I know how much is in there as I keep a tally on the side of the tin. I'm sad like that - lol.
I've started buying bits and bobs for christmas but I don't want to break open my tin. If I can manage without opening it, it's going to stay sealed until it's actually full.Dave Ramsey Fan[/COLOR]0 -
Hi all,
Everyone is doing so well with their savings! Some are having to open their pots early but just imagine what would have happened if they hadn't bothered in the first place. At least they have funds to fall back on
It's my birthday today and I have had a super day. Lots of lovely cards and a couple of glasses of wine at the village pub tonight. What more can a (fairly elderly!) woman ask for :T As a consequence of the wine I have only a few pence to pot but I am going Christmas shopping with DD tomorrow. I sold some scrap gold last weekend for £138 so should have enough to buy some pressies and, hopefully, a bit overWatch this space!
Night night everyone xSealed Pot Challenge #012

If you don't need the money i say leave it in. otherwise you may be tempted to spend it along with the rest of your money.
Last month i managed to save £45.97 (i don't do surprises, i track everything i pot bar some coppers until they go in the bank). Going to try my hardest to get a good total at the end of this month.
I have 9 nieces and nephews that i usually buy presents for at Christmas (i have more that i don't buy for as i don't see them). This year i have decided i will give them all money. I really hate giving money but this year is so tight and i don't want to make myself bankrupt for the sake of one day. I will still buy for my mum dad and younger sister so its not all bad news. Giving them all £20 will actually save me hundreds!!
I really can't wait for count up day to see everyones totals
You are all doing so so well

Hi all
Happy birthday little_sweetie, enjoy tonight
Another lovely £2 coin
Well done to everyone even if you're having to open pots a bit early it's better than going into debt for Christmas isn't it!
