  • SusanneCape - Sorry to hear about dad-in-law. Wishing him well.

Thank you very much, Kerry. He's such a loveable man and thankfully on the mend, thanks in most part to my mum-in-law.

just a quick post to say have given in today and opened my pot early as it was full. Only have £2 coins in there, and was very surprise to say there was £500 :j in total.

Congratulations on your £500 saved, ladsmadd!!!! :T A shame you had to open early, but there you go. You certainly did well though! Please add it to your signature for sparky please.

I hope you all had a lovely time in Scotland, jakes-mum, DH & I adore it up there, especially in the Highlands! Well done with the swimming pool money!! :T

Good to see you back, bubbs!

Do I count the £330 I had earlier in the year but had to use in a rough patch ? :D

Hi mummytummy! Lovely to see you and all the best with whatever you save. Of course you include the £300 you needed to us earlier. No worries at all.

Lovely that you had a wonderful time, mumof3plusoh, but stayed safe! You really can't be too careful on such mountains so I'm pleased you were all sensible.

Hi LC 2, I was going to say I hope DH's cold soon gets better, but I'll wait until we hear him sneeze first!!! :rotfl: Oooh you are awful. Those hobnobs sound good, not all at once though!

My total was £137.27 which I am very pleased about - as it was only bits and bobs when I could.

I have repotted the £2.27 and will carry on as its a great way to save without even trying.

Thank you so much for the challenge :D

Hiya LAM and very well done indeed on your £137.27 savings!!! :T Yes, carry on saving wherever you can as it soon mounts up as you've noticed. Good luck in the following year! Thanks for popping you Total on your siggy.

Thanks for jogging her memory, jakes-mum! Who's a clever girl then. :D

So very sorry to hear about your poor Dad-in-law, Susanne, I do hope he makes as full a recovery as possible. It sounds as though your Mum-in-law is determined to do all she can and well done her! They'll both be pleased to see your DH, a tonic for both I'm sure.

£10 in the pot for DH & I. Forced leftovers after shopping. :D

Have a great Tuesday, folks, keep saving, healthy...and stay safe!

Thanks Sue, yes we were very sensible and well prepared for the mountain climb. It did help that 2 of our party of 17 are ex army so we felt safe.

Glad you had a fab time Jakes-mum. Love Scotland too.

Keep saving everyone, not long now.

    Morning all,

Brrrrrrrrrrr, what a cold weekend. Managed to pot £30.10 (change and a bit of overtime).

My dad-in-law had a stroke so I will be without DH for 10 days or so whilst he goes to visit. Dad is getting better, thankfully. Girlie time for me and DD whilst DH is away (and peace and quiet).

Enjoy your day everyone. At least the sun is making an appearance every so often today.

    Hi SusanneCape

Really sorry to hear about your FIL hope he soon makes a full recovery

    Hi Jakes-Mum

Glad you enjoyed Scotland. We love it there and go as often as we can. Not too far from us to go for a long weekend we have relations there too so not too expensive.

hope Jake and Miss Lily had a good time.

    Hi Every one

Well off shopping with DH . He is now better (Still hasn't sneezed)

This was pronounced yesterday when one of his friends rang and asked him if he fancied going fishing. When I suggested perhaps he should stay in the warm I was told his cold had gone. It was a miracle!!!

So when I just told him we were going shopping he didn't have an excuse :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I need him to come cos he comes complete with wallet :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I'm sure I'm in for a fun morning !!!

Thanks for making me laugh and keeping me sane LC2 :D
