Hi all
Four lovely £2 coins today plus some shrapnel from the weekendI carried the coins round for ages and had to get more notes out of the bank cos i couldn't bear to spend them, they belong in Patrick the pot! he is looking very smug lately.

DS3 just cheered me up though, reminded me of a joke:
Woman tells friend 'my husband has done something really bad, and I'm going to get my revenge by feeding him the cats meat, I'm sure he won't notice'.
Few weeks later, she bumps into friend who asks after husband. She said 'oh he's died'. Friend looking shocked said ' OMG you poisoned him with the cat meat???', woman replied ' Oh no, he broke his neck licking his !!!!
:rotfl:A great joke, mommyof4!!

Hi all,
I am rather pleased with myself today. My parking bay tenant paid me 3 months upfront so £300 went into the pot today. Although I initially wanted to save for a holiday, I will probably pay £500 into my youngest DD's student account as a Christmas gift to repay some of her overdraft.
Did not end up going to the carboot - my friend did not have enough stock, so we will try again next Sunday.
I have 3 birthdays coming up, all in one week - my husband on the 8th, my middle DD on the 11th and my son-in-law on the 14th so I had not anticipated much in the way of adding to the pot this month. Now I am rather chuffed!!!

Evening everyone,
Sorry I've been MIA for a few weeks, I've been very busy ... buying a house!!! Finding it took up a lot of time too! Just waiting for formal mortgage offer then the searches - its hard to type with all your fingers crossed! But it just goes to show that mse really works
Still been potting away and really looking forward to count up day. I'll probably put the money back in my savings when they return to zero which is a scary thought!
Off now to read the last 11 pages! Keep potting everyone

Oh Janey, well done! Fantastic news about the house :j A commitment like that is scary isn't it  but exciting too! I can remember buying our first home. We had to sell our car to put down a deposit and didn't have a stick of furniture to put in it but we felt like we had won a million
Just popped in to say an amazing 6p potted...change from food shopping. Why, oh why, are prices going up and my income going down
Enjoy this lovely sunny day everyone xSealed Pot Challenge #012
