Hi everyone,

Sorry, I went AWOL for a while - I was skint !!

I potted £20 today (a bit of overtime) and am hoping to bring in some cash from a carboot sale on Sunday, weather permitting. Wish me luck whilst I stand in the freezing weather selling Levi Jeans for 50p. Every little 'elps!!!!

G'day All,
Haven't been on for a week or so as met a new fella :T but he seems to take up far too much of my time. I forgot how they do that :rotfl: !!

Over the last week I've potted between £8-£9 in shrapnel. I start a weekly grocery budget challenge on Friday and will be potting the difference from what I used to spend to what I have budgeted myself to spend. Should perk the pot up a bit!!

Still around in the background and still potting, work are making me earn my wages lately, so I'm still going to be going AWOL. Any way on the potting front - 6 X £2 coins today, plus my usual £2 daily potting when I get home later.

Hi all, princely sum of 7p potted today! oh well, better than nothing. Youngest DS has come down with the vomiting virus (I had it last weekend), so expecting DS2 getting it.
Gutted because I cant book the Halloween camping trip, DH is working and can't get the time off
Went on a long walk today with DGS3, looked out for roadkill but none to be seen. Glad I went out though, looks like we'll be holed up for a while now till the dreaded bug does one.
DS3 just cheered me up though, reminded me of a joke:
Woman tells friend 'my husband has done something really bad, and I'm going to get my revenge by feeding him the cats meat, I'm sure he won't notice'.
Few weeks later, she bumps into friend who asks after husband. She said 'oh he's died'. Friend looking shocked said ' OMG you poisoned him with the cat meat???', woman replied ' Oh no, he broke his neck licking his !!!'!!!
Made me laugh anyways....

Hi all, potted £1.60. Getting excited cos decided to do the 2nd purse thingy. Got my tenner all ready to go seek out some bargains for my store cupboard, which is a little bare at the mo.
