    G'day All,
Haven't been on for a week or so as met a new fella :T but he seems to take up far too much of my time. I forgot how they do that :rotfl: !!

Jolly exciting, skyehusky- hope it goes well!

Haven't posted for a while but thought I'd let you all know that I'm keeping on keeping on with my £1 a day. Seem to have fallen off the wagon slightly with the gym visits at the minute though...

20p roadkill yesterday :D found it in superdr*g, had DD with me and she announced at the top of her voice 'mum! did you just find roadkill christmas!'

Went to DD's school 'welcome' disco last night with the jakester and me mum, cost £8 to get in and managed to spend another £7 whilst there :o nearly cleared out the kids book stall as they were charging 10p a book  and had a load of thomas books! plus bow and ribbon packs for 10p! would have been rude not too really ;) also got DD a spare school jumper off the nearly new stall, shes got 2 cardi's and a jumper but every friday she looks like a scrag bag as she just gets filthy everyday! and it was 50p so perfect back up :D

  • Potted £1.83 today, left from weekly spending money.

Money getting tighter and tighter at the mo. Especially with Xmas round the corner and have a few other things going on, so less money coming out of the bank and less being potted.

Have a good weekend everyone. :D

  • Another £2.50 into the pot today as my eldest DS didn't go to fencing as he had a cold. I'm getting into this saving lark - I've never been very good at it before so even though when we open the pot, the money will go towards debt payment, at least I'm heading towards debt free and saving :).

2p real roadkill! :j :j pulled up the mobility scooter behind our car at the SM and it was sat there on the road :D the previous owner obviously wanted me to have it :D:D

Have had to accept that my pot is now full so have started to re-use DS's uniform fund tub, so a whopping 10p in the new tin :j

DH and I have decided we are going to have a competition (well im not allowed to play or it wouldnt be a fair comp it seems :rotfl:) everyone has to have a guess at how much will be in the tins at opening day, whoever is closest gets the odd shrapnel (anything left over after we round down to the nearest £5er) now as ive done a few years and have a good idea what has gone in, I have graciously stepped down from the competition and will help Miss Lily with her guess instead ;) We will all be guessing tomorrow and writing our guesses on pieces of paper which will be put in an envelope and taped to the front of the tin for opening on count up day :D
