    Wow mishmogs that's good saving!
I reckon I've got another inch and a half of Patrick to fill before I count up again.
What bike do you ride? I had a Suzuki until my eyes went funny so I'm pillion now :o which is better than nothing :)
I'm sure your 16 yo lad will love being with bikers as we're wonderful people :A

How do, am on a Honda 600 Hornet and would like a 900 Hornet but until I can get a permament job, there is no way I can afford it!! Too many other items need replacing (fridge/freezer, cooker).

Being on this thread has really kept me focused to keep potting away. A couple of times, I have had to dip into the cat head for a couple of squid but I didnt feel good about it. Although I haven't kept uptodate with the Frugal Living Challange I have been careful and will have to be even more so with the predicted food price rises (which I am dreading). I will defo keep on this thread next year as everyone is friendly and you can see the outcome.

    Tera for now.....

  • Hi little sweetie

Having a great morning just got 2 free tickets to see a film tomorrow and a £10 voucher from VO on the way. Think I will buy a lottery ticket :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oh and DH has just cooked full English breakfast.

    XLC2

Wow, LC2 what a grand start to the day! I notice it went a bit downhill for a while later in the day but at least you got a fiver out of DH :rotfl:

Aw, rosy, what a rotten trick to pinch your bike :( some people are so nasty. Hope you get a replacement soon (and a good bike lock)

Didn't go anywhere yesterday other than the local theatre where I had volunteered to help stuff 2,500 envelopes with brochures  It was great as I had free coffee and homemade cake for two hours of help :p

I have potted 50p change from my purse. Payday soon! :T

Have a lovely, if wet day everyone x

Well went to the cinema last night free and off with friends tonight for a meal with vouchers that I got :j:j:j So another free night out.

DH moaned all the way to the cinema "This is going to be rubbish" "They never let you see anything good free" "It's going to be a waste of petrol this" Then when we got there half an hour early cos I was advised to get there early " Look there's only going to be about 20 of us, Told you it would be rubbish" "Hate being in a empty cinema"

At the start of the film the cinema was full and DH laughed the loudest through it!!

Came out. "Glad I told you to make the effort and come out" :rotfl::rotfl:

OMG He is such a Grump!!

Won't be moaning tonight though when he is drinking free beer with my vouchers :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

No pennies in the pot yet but haven't been out yet

Some people are never satisfied, are they, LC2?

What film did you see? We went to see Brave on Saturday (with discounted tickets from work) and really enjoyed that.

My purse appears to be filling up with pound coins. Guess where they're going...

  • Well done on the free tickets LC2 My OH is just as grumpy. He hates the theatre and cinema and I just LOVE it. I have just managed to get 2 free tickets to see Untouchable next Tuesday and he doesn't want to go  I'm going to try and track down a friend to go with me but I'll go alone if necessary  I didn't tell him I've got enough points for free ice creams too.... Serves him right :D

Received a cheque today from a cashback offer so £3.49 for my pot :T I've managed to get one of the Boots offer perfumes (listed in Martin's newsletter) for £5.52 and which also gives me 500 free loyalty points making the perfume only 52p (I'm saving the points up to buy Christmas gifts with) so effectively I have my first Chrissie present bought!

    Enjoy your meal LC2! x
