    welcome pantherchick

its never to late to join the potties . . erm I mean the sealed pot challenge :D You can decide to start now and keep going till end of november and open with the rest of us then start again, or start now and keep going until next nov/dec, its your pot, you do what works for you :D

Sue-UU the all powerful tisroc (may she live forever) . . umm sorry ive been reading alot of Narnia this week :o . . . will be along at some point in the very near future and allocate you your very own, one of a kind, needs to be polished daily, number and ask you to pop it on your signature. If you have a target you want to save, let her know and she'll add it to your number on the first page :D

How you run your pot is again up to you, we have some that bank as they go along as they dont like lots of money round the house (please add any money you bank to your sig as this helps the all powerful Sparky with his adding up spreadsheets), others of us like big heavy pots to count up on opening day so leave them all year :D

Please have a read of page 1 as this has much wonderful and helpful information about the challenge and how it works and if you have questions you can always ask us, we are all very nice, LC2 and I are the nicest and are well known for being the most well behaved on the thread so act as we do and you'll get on fine :D, some count their pennies as they pot, some refuse to have any idea whats in the pot and just stuff whatever they have in there! We all tend to post when we pot, just to keep the thread moving and motivate each other, but it is up to you :)

Now I may be wrong but I *think* there might be a list of other challenges somewhere, though I have no idea where. Of the top of my head, there is the £2 savers club, virtual sealed pot (same as us but all done online, sweeping excess money from your bank into a savings account) for anyone with debt theres the Debt Free By Xmas 2012 (though alot of us wont be so this will start again on 26th Dec, but we still like new people now!), Earn £10 a day in *whatever month it is* (this is obv monthly lol) . . . hmm theres loads tbh :D it depends what kind of challenge you want :D
Thanks so much for the introduction, :rotfl:its great to have new friends already! even after only a day on the forum. You talk about signature, what is this and how do i work it? if u dont mind me asking. ive started to track all my unwanted items and put some on ebay, which are gathering a little money as i type, i have some unwanted larger items that i think will sell quicker on gum tree, yet ive never used that site befor. so here goes! sealed pot has been started unsure whats gone in there, couple of pounds at the most, so its fair to say iv started on my merry way. with new good friends and lots of advice im prepaired to make a sucess! ive been paying off some debts, over the last year, so i should be debt free by jan 13. so hopefully will be saving for a 36 month term for a future goal! is that the best thing to do? look forward to further posts. and challenges for the new month ahead.

    Morning everyone
2 X £2 coins & 2 X 50p's into the Chicago & New York 2013 spending fund. My daily £2 plus change into the sealed pot. Managed to get my DW a full outfit for a works 'DO' in one shopping session yesterday, under budget and within 2 hours, really impressed and amazed that we got it done!

Have a great day everyone, stay safe & keep saving
