Off to Mr A today for another very expensive food shop
am already brassic after the shoe shop yesterday where Cl*rks helpfully removed over £100 from my purse  told the kids if they dont stop growing i'll have to put one of them on fleabay
been sat sticking more stuff on fleabay as well, up to 47 items and frantically scouring the house now as I want to get to 50 :rotfl: hate odd numbers
Does that 47 include the kids?
Bobbed down to Mum's yesterday and she insisted on giving me petrol money again so potted it. At least she let me buy lunch
Had my bike stolen couple of weeks agoso gotta find a new one can anyone recommend a good but cheap one? Hadn't realised they're so expensive!

It's now 55 items :rotfl: have told the kids they are safe for now as I've already got £87 of bids, but to keep in mind those free listing days are regular so they better not grow anymore this year :rotfl:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

I would call it Loft kill.
If I find money anywhere I always call it after where I found it. Washing machine kill, carpet kill, bedroom kill etc.:rotfl:[SIZE=2]SPC4 #1395 Aug 11 £135.75/£150

Anyway, will finish the deep clean today/tomorrow in time for the exchange student coming on friday. Never had exchange student stay before so am looking forward to it. Anyone else done this?
Hiya mishmogs and well done on the 10p find! Yes, DH & I had an exchange student. Our DS went to France on the scheme when he was 14 and we had the Son of the teacher, who took him, back with us. Although I was a bit dubious it was all ok and he was a lovely lad - though his Mum came with them all too so she popped round a couple of times; lovely lady though. Our DD also went to Germany on an exchange, but I wasn't well enough at the time to return the favour, but someone else had her. Both trips were thoroughly enjoyed by our 2. Enjoy it all and if you can get to grips with a little of the lingo it helps. Where is he/she coming from? I take it you mean a school kiddie?
Flippin heck, jakes-mum, £50 for just 2 pairs?!!!!!!! :eek:We joined the gym a couple of weeks ago and have spent a small fortune on new clothes etc. all on the card.
Hi Modesty! Wondered where you'd got to, but can see why now with all that outlay! Never mind, it's being put to good use if you're getting fit. Get ready for those endorphins to kick in - you'll lose even more weight then!!!
Good Heavens above, little_sweetie, when you say it like that and being as September's this week - it won't be too long til November!!! I'd taken me eye off the ball since the half way mark!luckycharlie wrote: »Having a great morning just got 2 free tickets to see a film tomorrow and a £10 voucher from VO on the way. Oh and DH has just cooked full English breakfast.

Lovely to see you, LC 2! Good to hear your news, but did you have to mention that ruddy breakfast!!!!! I'm starving now.
Hey Oops, very well done on your fleabay gains!!! I've some bits to sell, but always chicken out from putting them on on a thingy free W/E. One day with a bit of luck. Is it easy??
oooh! What a rotten swine for pinching your bike, Rosy!!!! Any good having a look on line under "cheap bikes"? No idea otherwise, sorry.
Hi black cat, I go along with, mumof3plusoh and call it loft kill or house kill/gains, though as it was in the house why not just call it a lucky find and wing it in the pot!!! :rotfl:

Hello all and I forgot to welcome all the newbies.... So. WELCOME
Well I bite the bullet and counted my two pots (owl head and cats head) and got a total of £350 and popped this into the savings account along with £156 from the fleabay sales so that makes a total of £874. Only need a couple of more hundred for a reasonable fridge/freezer. :j:j:j.
Have decided to keep on potting and save towards a new cooker as well and will now wait until the xmas sales and see if I can buy the two of them for a bigger discount.
think I will convert the savings account into an ISA account and get more tax free interest on the dosh.
Sue-UU - my exchange student is a 16 yo german lad from Berlin and hes staying for 10 months (but going home at christmas) his emails show that he is an intelligent young man and I think he has a couple of mates coming over as well so at least he has company. Not sure what he will make of a couple of bikers!! no doubt he will soon find out!SPC Nbr.... 1484....£800 Saved £946 in 2013)
