    Mine are:

To be fair. Which lots of people seem to be using

Mate or bud. To people who are not their mate or bud

    Ah bless

    I hate any sayings really.

"I literally can't wait" (for something to happen)

Which is stupid, because they're not doing anything other than waiting for that thing to happen. It's not as though they're shooting themselves or making that thing happen NOW.

Nom nom nom - where did that come from? I have a physical reaction to it every time. What's wrong with yum yum?!

And "going forward". I have a colleague who uses this as often as possible.

But both are daft! I can go with nom nom as it's the sound cats make when being defensive over their food
You never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow

My flatmate regularly refers to a meal as 'noms'

I also hate it when my mum says "I'll get you to do this" or "I'll get you to do that", then expects it done!... I feel like saying "Fine, when you ask me I will"

How about putting 'e' before everything remotely related to online technology?... a client struggling with their new system referred to it as 'e-grappling'

Yes I hate the word 'supper' too!... There's a supper club in my town which moves around various pubs and restaurants. Why on earth you would go to a pub to drink hot milk with 20 other people is beyond me.

Calling a second go of anything-at-all "Version 2.0".

BTW, is there a reason for the .0?
Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.

It's a technology thing, mainly with computer software.

The first version is Version 1.0.
Then a minor improvement version is Version 1.1.
A further minor improvement would be Version 1.2.
Then a significant improvement would be Version 2.0.
A minor improvement on that would be Version 2.1.
    Etc.

It's stupid I know, but when I see a reply to a thread that starts 'I didn't want to read and run' my blood starts to boil........nobody reads and runs, they just move on to the next thread!!
