I think it means "really good" - eg, that cake was top bananas.0 -
What does "nom nom nom" and "Staycation" mean?
The phrase bloody Nora really irritates me. I think that's how it goes as I can now to block it out whenever its been said.
Its not really the phrases that annoy me, just the people that are saying them. I had the H.A.P.P.Y one the other day while I was flat out busy. Wanted to thump the guy that had just wandered into work.0 -

I hate it when people say "watch your back" instead of "excuse me".
An Asda employee was pushing one of those massive crates past me once and said this instead of excuse me, I had to bite my tongue as I find it incredibly rude! :mad:Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £24,616.090 -

'nom nom nom' is a way of indicating that you are going to eat or are looking forward to eating something delicious.
'staycation' means being on holiday (vacation) but staying at home.It might mean, more broadly-speaking,just not going abroad for a holiday.I'm not quite sure.0
