'At the end of the day'.
'Well, basically....'.
'Brunch'.

I hate that too!! I was flicking through channels one morning to find some bloke on Jeremy Kyle say "basically at the end of the day yeah"

Somewhere between trousers & leggings. Not sure why that warrants a whole new word, but there you go!0 -
unixgirluk wrote: »I have an even worse one ..... "the wean(s)" every time I hear the word I think of Wayne Rooney with a dummy in his mouth. Its baby/child/children/son/daughter ..... not wean!
I've never heard that but it reminded me I hate ''rents' for 'parents' Argh! (I typed that Aaarrrggghhhh! to start with but I knew it would annoy some :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)0 -
I don't like it when someone says "Oi, You" or just "Oi" when they are trying to get your attention.
Cant say im a fan of "Oh Wow" or "Ticks all the Boxes" either. Some days I wake up Grumpy ... Other days I let him lie in.0 -

In the end I was beginning to wonder if it was from nerves or something. Definitely started to get on mine!.
Whilst on a coach trip last year a man had a heart attack, when the driver announced it the woman in front of me said ''Ah bless''. I couldn't believe what I was hearing :eek:0 -

Invite instead of invitation probably being the most popular.
Or nouns/adjectives as verbs ... I think I've already mentioned 'leverage' as a verb. The newest one at the last management meeting was 'flagship', as in "we need to flagship that service" (presumably marketing based on our flagship service).:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
