Sounds like a fun pampering session. Hope you feel better soon.
  • Debenhams have just emailed me saying that £10 of my £20 reward will expire on the 3rd of May. Would it be terrible to use that to stock up on stuff, even though there isn't anything I 'need' right now? I'm quite intrigued by a couple of the things Benefit have brought out recently...

It would be a shame to lose £10.

WIBA? Maybe. Not sure how much difference it makes as I haven't used a different type, but I'd happily try some more!

Let me know how it goes with the Espa stuff, by the way where did you get the starter set? Is it trial sizes?

Oh and a freebie in St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub 30ml - won't need to buy face scrub for a long while already have plenty in the stash.

This was the set from QVC....200980, it is waitlist only. (Sorry not sure about links)

1 x Lift & Firm Moisturiser (15ml) - instantly smooth away the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to leave you skin feeling soft and smooth
1 x Lift & Firm Intensive Serum (7ml) - helps to improve the appearance of ageing skin revealing a firmer, plumper complexion
1 x Lift & Firm Eye Moisturiser (7ml) - hydrate and visibly smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the delicate eye area.
1 x Cleansing Balm (13g) - gently lifts away make-up and impurities to leave skin looking smoother and more radiant.
1 x muslin cloth - helps sweep away dead/surface cells
I will post my results as I use up. :)

    Couple of UUs
The Nelson's Arnica cream for bruising that I'd used up as foot cream. It did OK as a moisturiser, and if anyone else has one lurking in the back of the cabinet OOD, it's a good way of saving something from landfill.

2nd UU A 250 ml Loose Women body lotion that I got from Poundland. Had intended it as a stocking-filler gift but decided it was too naff.
WIBA? No, though it had a really pleasant scent. It was extremely runny but it didn't rub in easily either, light though it was. However it did seem to keep skin moisturised for the time that I used it.
If I was absolutely strapped for cash I would buy it again, but I might be more inclined to pick up a Poundland coconut body butter. Much nicer.
Vaseline 50 ml lotion sample that arrived as a freebie is next in line.

A Baylis & Harding body lotion, nice and softening. It is very rigid and I've had it sitting upside down for over a month to try and get the dregs out but they haven't shifted. I have another one almost finished too:)
