Well looked in the mirror at home this morning when getting ready for work and was so pleased at how my skin looked. After a journey to work though all the windy cold weather early this morning, my skins gone back to being a lovely flouresent pink.
When browsing through the Internet I found this that someone had quoted, I believe it orginally came from the ESPA website "Skincare should always be a pleasure and never a chore" I totally agree with that one (Maybe I should try ESPA products next?). It can be really enjoyable when your using products you like that are right for your skin, but can become a chore when trying to use up products you hate and never should have bought.
So once I have used everything up I will hopefully have a list of HG items, which will be the only things I buy from then on (if not will try and stick to buying mini or trial sizes of things to try (never again will I buy full sizes of things I'm not sure about).0 -
Sorry forgot to add, I've been doing well in general on facecare etc, but there are a few things I've not been doing that I promised I would.
Apply Foot Butter every night - not done this for weeks, they won't be ready for summer at this rate.
Wear at least foundation and mascara for work every day, due to being too tired and in a rush on a morning haven't managed to achieve this at all this week.
Must try harder0 -

I am using my ESpa starter set at the moment, was not sure about the smell of the cleansing balm at first, but find it OK now, very happy with all four items, slightly tightening, but no feeling of dryness, no allergic reactions, skin soft and looks good too, lines around eyes do not seem as prominent. I will reserve judgement until all used up before I decide if anything will go on the WBA list.
Like you, I hope to end up with a list of HG items, for variety I might sign up to a beauty box or two for a while, but not until I have used up everthing that does not appear on the HG list.

No. 7 Waterproof mascara, came back from town yesterday to find a huge black smudge of mascara on my face, wind was cold and my Clinique one had run, not a good look, and of course was completely oblivious until I got home:o
2 x Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps, several finger nails have broken off really, really short, hoping this will protect them from knocks, while I try to improve condition. Buy 2 get 1 item free, and could not find anything else I wanted/allowed myself to buy.
My Gatineau set has arrived, so will unpack and list later. No sign of any outs, will be a week at least before any more.
Cold, wet and windy here in the middle of the country, got to knitting goup to find it not runnng in school holidays:(, treated OH and myself to fresh cream cakes and came home again:)The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -
no beauty boxes today:(hope they arrive tomorrow!

My 3rd UU of the month so far:
Liz Earle Intensive Nourishing treatment (15ml) - am gradually working through my stash of these using them as a hand conditioner. I don't use this as a face mask as I am not keen on the smell but after using a scrub on my hands I apply this and then my hands are lovely and soft. WNBA but probably have enough in my stash to last me at least 2 years at the rate I am going.
DD off to a Lush party this evening - have promised to go early so DD2 can have a browse before the party and spend her Easter money. Will try to be strong...0 -
St. Ives Scrubs are ok. Nothing really special. Try out one of their small 30 ml tubes first. Some people find that the apricot grains are too coarse on their skin.0

Let me know how it goes with the Espa stuff, by the way where did you get the starter set? Is it trial sizes?
Oh and a freebie in St Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub 30ml - won't need to buy face scrub for a long while already have plenty in the stash.0
