Good job I don't really have a stockroom VALM, if I have an empty cupboard I have to fill it with something! I'd be maintaining a small Boots warehouse in no time.

    Welcome Catriona and other newbies.

Lots of interesting and funny thoughts from your soapbox VALM, if OH became aware of the value of my nail polishes and skincare stashes he would have a fit, even though he owns half a dozen expensive bicycles and parts for them - we all have our weaknesses I guess.

Living in the sticks now, means that I only have regular access to a very small Mr B and one nice chemist which stocks Clarins and Lancombe, whilst these are both brands I like, it is not the type of shop one can browse in, and the Boots does not stock very much, even the Max Factor stand does not offer all the latest range. So, effectively a lot of temptation has been removed, joining in here and the nail polish thread also means that I have less time trawling around on e-bay, so that just leaves me with shopping tv, but as you state, virtually everything comes around on sale again after a while, particularly in these times of recession.

I think I will always hoard something, but at the moment I need all my spare cash to spend on my new to me garden, and for diesel for the motorhome, so I don't think I will go back to being tempted by glitches and 3 for 2's. Now I just need a similar thread devoted to using up all the yarn and bead stashes!

Good first name you have there :D

I agree. :D Unusual that we're all the same spelling too! Welcome Catriona_P!

UU: Neutrogena Norwegian Formula hand cream. WBA as this is HG - in fact, I bought a twin pack yesterday!

I have 4 other hand creams to UU first, 2 opened. I have a Neutrogena hand and nail one in my handbag which is alright and Soap and Glory Hand Food on my desk - I really don't get the hype with this as I don't find it very moisturising!

I take it that this is a name we all share then? :D It does get annoying when everyone spells it a hundred different ways on cards/emails etc!

And a lovely Scottish name it is too ;)

One UU - it was a Lush bathbomb thing. I bought it between Christmas and New Year when a friend dragged me in and it was in the sale. A cute wee igloo thing. I bought 3 bathbombs and that was the first one that I used.

Time to slather my hands and feet before bed :D

2 outs! This UU rate can not be sustainable!

Avon Senses orange shower gel - this was the huge one! Excellent value and nice smell- my OH really loved using it.

Sainsburys cherry and almond shampoo and conditioner for kids- I bought this because I thought it would be gentle on my scalp- boy was I wrong! It was so artificial smelly. Eww! Also, you needed a tonne to wash your hair and it made it into a tangled mess. Needless to say I will not be buying again

I'm now on to a TBS fuzzy peach shower gel and I am using the myriad of shampoo/conditioners.

Trudij, what do you think of the sanctuary body souffle? I love it! I love the fragrance of it and it's so cooling when you apply it. Lovely just after epilating :)

cooling - yes, fragrance - ok but not my favourite. Went in quite well though and does make me feel softer skinned. not sure if I will buy again - though having reached down what i thought was gardeners hand cream to use instead, it is hand protecting cream which is supposed to help stop dirt sticking to your hands when you are gardening.... still, might keep me clean for a while - dont like the smell one bit though, tis really weird!!! :rotfl:
