To make it multi region
Turn on the player (make sure there's no DVD in the tray), select the preferences and press 1,3,7 and 9. Then merely select what region you want 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2
I can not vouce whether this works or not, use at your own risk.

Cheers to original poster for posting this bargain. I just ordered and it turns out that this company loaded.com is actually specialreserve.co.uk sister branch or is tied to them.
Delivery is by courier and i was told that my order would not register with them till the system gets updated at 6:30 tonight.
So just incase you got nobody available to be in when courier delivers you probably got to go to their depot to collect.0 -
Just to add a voice of support here. Yamadas are fantastic players at that price, and provide by far the best DivX/Xvid playback you are likely to get without a proper PC. I use one myself, and recommended it to a number of friends.
Re: KISS, maybe it was just bad luck, but the two devices I had access to (500 and 1000) were both very bad at reading DVD-Rs with Divx content and would often get confused with more complex scenes.0 -

Thet playback is very good, and seems to play most things.
