It's a shame there's no way of making these vouchers/codes more secure - ie used correctly for the product and it gives the discount - use it incorrectly and say 3 times the amount is charged...

Yes but it is such a shame this should be necessary.

If most people were reasonable(you will always get some fraud)
and did not take advantage and go mad buying up all stock in sight
we would not have this problem.

There are ways of making coupons more secure on the net or in printed form but they chose not to use them. Putting any coupon in a plain PDF or plain print leaves it open to abuse and it was very naive of the marketing people if they were not aware of this. From personal experience my opinion of these marketing types is that their heads are so far up their own ***** they cannot see the daylight. The sheet with the coupon on showed very little of what it was all about and looked just like any other freely available internet printable coupon. There will probably have been no actual cost to the MSS and the publicity generated may well have a golden lining, the event is still going ahead and look at the national press coverage it now has, any publicity is good publicity as they say.

I agree with all you say in this particular case, but even when for instance a coupon will say one per household,some people will use as many as they can.

There just does not seem to be much 'fair play' going on sometimes, just 'grab what you can' atttitude, which to my mind is very short sighted. As I said before we could end up losing these coupons completely.

Yep plus it's always against people who deserve it. For example you.

The irony with you is that you are far more abusive than me and regularly like to post replies to people calling them "idiots". There are several people on this forum who don't like the way you conduct yourself on here.

I am shocked that this ever happened. Never saw the voucher, if I did I may have got one pack but definitely not if it was for charity (and was clear that is was...)
