Completely agree Azari . I also think that the members on here who are talking about a 'charity being ripped off' are actually doing Wright's, the company who is actually losing the 80p a time, a disservice. They're the company who have done a decent thing and given to the charity fund raisers, only to have it exploited.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

It looks to me as if ChrissyG is winding people up because they jumped in and immediately assumed that the people who had misused this voucher knew that they were misusing it - and that may well have not been the case.

One would assume that a voucher for a special purpose, such as helping a charity, would be issued in such a way that it is restricted to people who are entitled to use it.

I'm not one to use vouchers, generally (apart from Tesco ones that are generated specifically for me) but it would never occur to me that I needed to check that I wasn't misusing something intended for a charity.

When people here waded in and started insulting people without being in full possession of the facts I'm pretty sure they will have put a few backs up and are now getting wound up in return.

    What goes around comes around.

    100% correct.

some people don't let something as insignificant as the facts get in the way of being abusive towards complete strangers but what ever rocks their boat .

Your whole demeanour on this thread has been of a person who is very happy about the fact they have used this voucher. If you were apologetic then that would have made this seem as a genuine mistake. Instead all you have done is gloat about it.

You seem to believe that people find you abhorent because they are jealous that they didn't get chance to use this voucher. When in fact its because they think you are a piece of !!!!.

"to get round the reserve problem i just get a mate to bid up what I would want the reserve to be. There is a chance he/she will win but at least i don't lose the item for too small amount of money! "

Selective quoting I like it. You want to read the whole thread. Besides they are completely different situations.

You want to get yourself an education

Putting the charity aspect to one side for a moment.

It is because of the gross misuse of such coupons as this and the greed - yes greed whether you like it or not- of some people, that everyone suffers. You might be getting a fantastic deal now but coupon abuse has ultimately led to much stricter rules and could even mean losing them altogether eventually.

Thats the point though. Wrights have been kind enough to offer MS society a chance to raise funds, by offering their existing fundraisers and potential ones the opportunity of buying discounted flour, to reduce the cost of making said products, so the society gets more contributions. This has been waylaid by the scavengers on sites like this, who find it acceptable to , and there is no other way of putting it, robbing the potential contributions the society would have made. Because of abusing the vouchers, the offer has been withdrawn, so fundraisers do not have the opportunity of getting discounted ingredients.

I don't have an issue with people who downloaded the voucher, with no knowledge of what the offer was created for. However I do have a problem with people who after finding out what the offer was for, still find it ok to either carry on using the vouchers, or not admit that they feel in some way guilty of using them.

I don't have a problem of anyone going into BHF shops or such like, buying something and then selling it on ebay at vast profit. At least the charity has received some money from a purchase.

Goater does have a habit of getting personal when people disagree with him. The funny thing is that he's very quick to accuse other people of doing that, even when they haven't. It's called 'projection'.
