OK. You are trying to wind people up(and succeeding to some extent) but your statement above as well as indicating you are a bit challenged on punctuation, grammar etc. also shows that you have little idea of what charity is about.

Live Aid would have been a miserable failure if the world was full of people such as you as would the Red Cross, Oxfam and many others. Everyone selects the charities that they prefer. I would rather give my mite to charities that do something for people rather than animals, for example.

Which aspect of charity might be the one you most subscribe to?

benevolent goodwill toward or love of humanity?
generosity and helpfulness especially toward the needy or suffering?

If you are trying to come across as someone who is amoral and in it for themselves then well done, you are succeeding.

If people thought like you charities wouldnt exist. I give to varying charities that i feel are just and can make an impact. No one in my family benefits from the charities i give to.

You scream of selfishness. Look after yourself thats fine, just dont rely on others to look after you when you need it, something i regret to say your probably already in benefit of.

Gonna leave it there, you simply are not worth it. I would call you a troll but im afraid you actually believe your views.

Well no its not feasbile to support all charities. However I think its also bad form to only support charities that you or your family benefit from. Thats technically not supporting for a charity but in fact just paying for a service.

I think the fact you are a terrible person is shown by your glee in the fact you have screwed over a charity. Everyone likes free vouchers or to benefit from a corporations pricing error. However any decent person would not set out to benefit at the detriment of a charity. I realise some people did not realising this when using the voucher. However you not only knew a charity was missing out you are positively delighting in the fact that you have cost them money.

You are therefore a really bad seed.

Your whole demeanour on this thread has been of a person who is very happy about the fact they have used this voucher. If you were apologetic then that would have made this seem as a genuine mistake. Instead all you have done is gloat about it.

You seem to believe that people find you abhorent because they are jealous that they didn't get chance to use this voucher. When in fact its because they think you are a piece of !!!!.

It looks to me as if ChrissyG is winding people up because they jumped in and immediately assumed that the people who had misused this voucher knew that they were misusing it - and that may well have not been the case.

One would assume that a voucher for a special purpose, such as helping a charity, would be issued in such a way that it is restricted to people who are entitled to use it.

I'm not one to use vouchers, generally (apart from Tesco ones that are generated specifically for me) but it would never occur to me that I needed to check that I wasn't misusing something intended for a charity.

When people here waded in and started insulting people without being in full possession of the facts I'm pretty sure they will have put a few backs up and are now getting wound up in return.

    What goes around comes around.
