Yawn, here we go again. Not your money, not your lifetime subscription, not even affected.0 -

For a "Newbie," you're not doing yourself any favours. I'd suggest you turn the rhetoric down a bit.
This is a free and overt forum, open to anyone, as a result, anyone is free to post where they like. It is not up to any other member to ask that anyone stops posting. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
No doubt this'll wind things up but is isn't the intention
In the world of consumer electronics what exactly did you all expect 'lifetime' to be (irrespective of any definitions you can trawl up from t'interweb).
Assuming £49 for 1 year, £79 for 2 or £99 for 'lifetime' I'd probably have expected 5 or so years and been happy with that.
Given you've a potentially insolvent company to chase, a piece of kit that could be outdated at the drop of a hat and you've had 6 years service then personally I'd be channelling my energies somewhere else.0 -

However, what about those who took out e "lifetime" subscription two years ago, surely they have a case. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

Indeed and my apologies if I've misread and there are people in this situation - I read it that the offer was a historic one from 2006/07. If not I withdraw my comment from those more recent purchasers0 -

Banjo, my first reply to you was saying Maritn Lewis doesn't monitor these threads, and doesn't give legal advice. The next talking about SOGA not being the way forward. Factual and straight to the point , but rude or negative? I didn't think so and it certainly wasn't my intention to come across that way, apologies if you think differently.0 -
I think it is time to put a stop to this "banter" and all wind our necks in0
