That is obviously because you haven't come across such gloriously fantastic Scottish people as there is on these boards:p If you had, you wouldn't want to leave;)

I think the arguments against eBay touts pail in comparison to those for, so there :p

At the end of the day it's a case of supply and demand, if people weren't willing to pay stupid money to see bands it wouldn't be a problem.

I love music and go to 3 or 4 gigs a month (paid for by eBay profits ;)). I can't understand people who pay so highly over the odds when it takes little effort to keep track of when tickets are going on sale and then getting up early and buying them, it's hardly rocket science.

I agree with you but sometimes getting up early enough ISN'T enough! I had 2 people who spent 5 hours online and trying to get through on the phone and STILL had no joy. It was only me being on here yesterday that resulted in us getting tickets. Sometimes it is just your luck:p

just off phone been advised that there will be tixs available on wednesday due to peoples details being incorrect/ overbooking/ credit card failures and ebay cancellations
  • Thanks for this information, I was gutted they went so quick and then i looked on ebay and some people were selling them for £400!! this is ridiculous and has to stop. I hope that ebay stop allowing the ticket touts to use them - it is a scandal.
Food and Smellies Shop target £50 pw - managed average of £49 per week in 2013 down to £38.90 per week in 2016
  • Also, where do I go to get the tickets on Wednesday? Can you tell me?

tickets will be cancelled because it is only 6 tickets per household.

you can book more with a credit card registered in a different address.

the reason for this is to stop people bulk buying and selling on e-bay

"ticketline have not taken any payments off anyone........

all orders will be done manually and those whom have overbooked will lose there latest tixs ordered///

so there will be a good few on this week....processing of payments start monday"

Mine and my husbands credit cards have both been debited by seetickets so are they still likely to cancel. Or is it ticketline? Perhaps they are not taking payment yet until any duplicates are cancelled?

Loads of members of the takethattv website (message board)have had their tickets cancelled because of supposedly incorret card details and no opportunity to rectify this with seetickets. Terrible.

I booked with ticketmaster and no payment has been taken yet.
There is something fishy about the incorrect card details as surely it would show there and then and you would be asked to correct it...like every other site does.
